Some time had passed but Sunghoon couldn't get used to the nightmares or dreams or whatever they were supposed to be because they became more vivid than usual. Before it did hurt him especially emotionally but now the only thing he wanted to do was hug Ni-Ki.
He still remembers that Thursday when Ni-Ki suddenly hugged him while he was washing dishes that Jake was supposed to wash but he took over it because he needed to clear his head somehow or that day when he fell asleep but when he woke up Ni-Ki was stroking his hair. Sunghoon does admit that he liked it but it was weird since the two of them were never that clingy- they were.
They held hands. He didn't know if it was Ni-Ki who started doing it first but Sunghoon liked it, especially when he liked holding hands a lot.
And here he was watching Ni-Ki doing the same thing he was doing last week. Washing dishes. He didn't know why but he felt pain washing over him as he rushed to him to back hug him.
It didn't take long for Ni-Ki to notice it and if you'd ask Sunghoon he was pretty startled by the sudden contact.
"Hyung- what's this for?" Ni-Ki asked and soon after that, he gulped. What could the reason be? And then Sunghoon remembered. "I am returning the favor." He smiled at what Ni-Ki giggled.
"Once again sorry for that, I-" Ni-Ki gasped as Sunghoon nuzzled his nose on his neck. "Uh, hyung-" Ni-Ki mumbled. "Please let me stay like this for a bit..." Sunghoon said. I feel like you're my comfort for all of the things that are happening to me lately.
"Ni-Ki you are my light," Sunghoon said out loud while Ni-Ki smiled in response. "You are the only one who knows about it and experiences it as well-" he sighed but soon after that, he noticed Ni-Ki's body tremble.
"I know how you feel-" Ni-Ki glanced down as he continued. "That's the same reason I looked for you last week too..." He smiled which Sunghoon couldn't see.
"We can talk about it later hyung, I need to wash these dishes or Jay hyung will scold me..." He pouted. "But you can wash the dishes as I am holding you as well-" He smirked.
"Hyung-" Ni-Ki let out. "What?" He asked acting confused. "You did the same thing to me, do you know how hard it was for me to concentrate?" He whispered while he enjoyed the way Ni-Ki was flustered by it.
But the moment was soon to be broken by Jay and Jungwon who were talking loudly as they walked straight to the kitchen. Sunghoon was aware of it so he carefully but quickly let go of Ni-Ki.
"Hyung what are you doing here?" Jungwon questioned. "Didn't you say that you'll rest and won't be out of your room for hours?" Jay added at what Sunghoon stood stunned but soon after that, he turned around trying his best to come up with a believable excuse even if he didn't necessarily need one.
"I was thirsty, that's all." He shrugged as he glanced at Jungwon but soon after that his gaze averted to Jay who could only nod at that. "Oh, so that explains why you're so close to Ni-Ki-" Jungwon laughed as Jay playfully punched him on his shoulder.
"Ow, what was that for?" Jungwon pouted as he glanced at Jay who rolled his eyes in response. "Anyway, Won and I are going shopping if you need anything you can tell us-" Sunghoon hummed in response.
"You too, Ni-Ki," Jay added at what Ni-Ki nodded. "So do you need anything?" Jungwon asked. Sunghoon shook his head. "No hyungs..." Ni-Ki smiled as he turned around at what Sunghoon and Ni-Ki were startled at first since they were so close to one another.
"Sorry- hyung-" Ni-Ki turned around. Sunghoon felt his heart flutter at that though. "It's fine-"
"Okay, we will be going," Jay said. "Yeah, uh see ya." Jungwon smiled at them but soon after that, he rushed to follow Jay who already exited the kitchen.
"Ni-Ki-" Sunghoon was interrupted by Ni-Ki. "It's fine hyung, I'll just keep washing the dishes and-" Ni-Ki gasped as he felt Sunghoon's arms wrap around his waist. "Please let me stay like this for a bit..." Sunghoon whispered as he nuzzled his nose on Ni-Ki's neck.
Ni-Ki felt shivers coming down his spine but he still accepted it, because he liked it way too much to decline Sunghoon's offer.
