𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗜 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗢𝗙 the train tunnel and I dragged my feet as we walked through the old streets of a town, heading away from Richmond. I didn’t know where we were going, and I don’t think Clementine did either. We just kept walking, silent, until she spoke up from in front, her face hidden behind her hat, fading into the shadow that had been made from the setting sun.
Clementine: Why did you say that?
Emma: Why did I say what?
I heard her sigh, hearing the frustration in her voice.
Clementine: You said, “I don’t care if he shoots me”.
Closing my eyes for a second, I let out a breath, not knowing how to answer. Not hearing my response, Clementine stopped walking, turning around with an air of anger.
