So this story is set in a slightly different AU than the canon.
Basically, Izuku after getting One for All met Steve Ray, who was close to All Might for several reasons, the most important one being the disciple of a close friend of Nana Shimura. So naturally, he told him about Izuku, and Steve being the world's first Quirkless hero to enter the top 10 made sure to help him out. Since then they've been really close.
Steve Ray uses Ninja arts (refer to the bio of my other MHA books except for the Solo Leveling one since it doesn't have it. Though you can proceed without doing that, he doesn't play a major role in the book)
Now, do note that some of the stuff he records will have some additional things he would add. That's for Steve and later the Big Three to listen, as he wants to explain what all led him to write the song. They obviously won't be in the final cut of the albums and stuff.
With that, let's get on with the book.
