"Your task for me will cause great pain and suffering Sensei. Many will die and many will come to resent me, but if I must I promise to fulfil the dream you and Hashirama failed to achieve." said Naruto to himself as he looked to the setting sun.

"The sun will set and dark times will ravage the world, but the sun once more shall rise and good times dominate the world." muttered Naruto before sweat-dropping to himself, "I could have said that better." he mused

Training ground 7, one month later

Naruto could the training ground a kunai in hand and dodging a barrage of attacks from the purple haired girl he was meant to train. The girl was a fast learner, a truly exceptional fighter. Ducking under a high kick he swiped her feet from under her causing her to fall down to the ground before being pined by Naruto a kunai on her neck.

She looked up to him a smirk on her face, "I almost had you." she stated but Naruto only stood not giving a response. The girl wasn't deterred, she was used to not getting replies from the blond. Naruto looked to the sky, and measured the position of the sun.

'Around noon.' he muttered before turning to the girl who stood dutifully next to him. "In a months time your team will be going on a C-rank mission." said Naruto and the girl seemed to get excited at the prospect of not doing the boring D-rank chores. "So today I'll be helping you unlock your Sharingan." said Naruto looking over at the girl who brightened even further.

"Really, how?" asked the girl and Naruto looked at her in the eye before speaking, "I have some ways the most simple would be putting you in a genjutsu, but the might be unintended draw backs to it. So, I'll just have to kill you." said Naruto lashing out with a kick to Satsuki's side sending her flying. As she righted herself, Naruto was already on her punch moving to her stomach and punching hard causing her to tumble on the ground before stopping a few feet away.

Standing she looked to see Naruto going through hand seals before taking a deep breathe, "fire style: fireball jutsu" roared Naruto exhaling a blue fireball that flew to the girl who hastily moved away while trying not to be killed, the explosion of the fireball colliding with the tree's behind her sent her flying forward to Naruto's position who kicked the side of her face while twisting his leg directing her to the ground resulting in a small human sized crater.

"Don't tell me your dead?" asked Naruto and the girl slowly stood, "How are you going to even challenge Itachi if you can't even stand against me, maybe I should kill you myself and save him the trouble." mused Naruto while raising a foot and getting ready for a head stomp that would surely end the girl's life. Satsuki rolled to the side and crouched in all fours like a cat ready to strike eyes blazing red with anger and desperation. She lunged forward and Naruto swerved around her and chopped her neck knocking her unconscious.

30 minutes later.

Head aching Satsuki groaned before slowly opening her eyes and they fell on Naruto who was seating opposite the tree she was leaned against. "Your cruel." she muttered rubbing her head. Naruto didn't answer he just continued reading his book.

"Stop channeling chakra to your eyes." muttered Naruto not looking to her. Satsuki's eyes opened wide and she stood and ran to the water pond not far from her and looked to see her eyes crimson with one tomoe spinning on each.

"Yes!" she cheered before standing and running to Naruto, "Sensei, I did it. I unlocked the Sharingan." she said cheerfully and Naruto closed the book in his hand with a snap before looking to the girl.

"Yes, but know this. The Sharingan is not a crutch, it's a tool like any Kunai and Shuriken. Don't rely on it too much and don't get lazy because you've unlocked your bloodline." said Naruto and the girl nodded in understanding. "Good." said Naruto.
