(y/n) POV:
Five Years Later...
"Are these our gojis?" Tony asked, popping a goji berry in his mouth as you were preparing lunch.
"They are not." You said, chuckling in his direction.
"What's wrong with ours?" He questioned, throwing a dish towel over his shoulder.
"Your alpaca ate them all, all of them."
Tony laughed, "Oh, what a glowing endorsement. First of all, Gerald is our alpaca." Tony said matter-of-factly, smiling at you as your eyes still focused on the broccoli in front of you.
You laughed, "He's not my alpaca if he's eating all my gojis."
"Well they're still going to be nice in the salad, though right?" Tony said sprinkling them over the bowl of spinach you had on the counter.
"No! Don't, don't, don't!" You said putting your hand over the salad bowl, causing Tony to chuckle at you again, "Could you just put it down? Get out of my kitchen." You laughed, shooing him away.
"Okay," He said defeated, before knocking over the bottle of salad dressed you had on the counter, "Oops... are we good here?"
"Yeah we're great, tell madam secretary that lunch is in five." You said, giving Tony a playful eye roll.
"I will go collect our alpha female." Tony smiled at you walking from the house.
As you were finishing up lunch, you heard a car door, looking out the window your eyes fell on Steve, Nat, and Scott.
"Auntie Nat!" You heard your four-year-old yell as her little legs ran to Nat, who scooped her up.
Tony looked in the direction of the house, catching your eyes. You knew this wasn't your average visit. You haven't seen Steve in almost two years, and Nat's visits were getting less and less frequent as well. You stepped out on the porch, drying your hands on the dishrag you had in your hands before draping it over the railing of the porch.
"Morgan, sweetie, why don't you come help mommy finish lunch." You called to your daughter who wiggled her way out of Nat's arms running to you.
You took Morgan's hand leading her inside, while you poured glasses of sun tea for the group, you handed six napkins to Morgan to place at the six seats around the dining room table. Tony walked through the door giving you a stern look.
"I don't like where this is going." He said, his eyes filled with worry.
"Just take the tea, we'll talk about this later." You said, before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
He nodded before he walked back out on the porch with the three unexpected visitors, as Morgan helped you continue to set the table.
"Mommy, what's Auntie Nat doing here?"
"I'm not sure baby, but she wanted to talk to daddy about something, that's why we're getting ready for lunch."
"Do you think she'll stay for lunch?"
"Maybe, but I don't know sweetheart." You said, brushing the chocolate brown locks out of your daughters face.
"I hope so." She said, a hint of sadness in her voice.
"Tell you what, why don't you go out and save daddy, we'll have lunch, and they maybe have some juice pops."
Morgan nodded in excitement as she took off out the door and jumped into her father's lap. You watched as they curled into each other, if there's anything you could say about Tony, it's how much he loves his daughter, which makes your heart swell with happiness.
