The Sketchbook

New School

This won't be a long chapter! And if you want to know something that might just make your day well I ran into a door on accident today.

Luz POV

'I am Luz Noceda. I am a witch living on the Boiling Isles. My Mami and I have been here for my entire life. I like to spend my free time drawing. Most people say I am good but I doubt it.' I sighed, closing my journal. "Luz, your home." The bus driver yelled. Her name was Sarah. I quickly got off only to find it odd that my Mami was here early. I walked inside to find her sitting at the table for me. "Luz, come sit down" Camilla, my mom, said cheerfully. "What is it Mami?" I asked, sitting beside her. "I got a new and better job outside of Headsville!" (Just a random name I made up) Camilla said. "The downside is is that you will have to move schools..." Camilla added with a frown. I lost my temper "But I don't want to leave my friends! I finally fit in now and all my hard work will be lost! Where are we moving at least?!" I said, on the verge of yelling. Camilla only said one word before leaving the table and going into her room "Bonesburow.". 

Later we had started packing. I didn't have much to pack because I don't need much. I did have one thing I took everywhere though. My sketchbook. I put my sketchbook in a sachel along with a charcoal pencil. By 9 pm I had finished packing and went into the living room. I saw Camilla asleep with a roll of tape in her hands. I frowned a bit thinking about how I acted towards her. I walked towards her and gently grabbed the tape out of her hands and went into her room to pack. By 1 am I had finished packing Camilla's stuff. I then went to bed realizing that tomorrow I would be in a whole new town...

Once I had woken up I saw Camilla loading the boxes into a moving bug. I had already changed and started grabbing boxes , loading them into the moving bug. I had made sure to grab my sachel with my sketchbook in it. Later we had finally finished loading everything in. Camilla and I got into the car and started driving to our new house in Bonesburow. I was sketching things I saw out the window of the car. Because of magic I never ran out of pages in my sketchbook because it was enchanted.

We had finally arrived at our new house. We went inside and checked it out before getting our stuff out of the moving bug. 

It took a few hours to get everything inside and out of the boxes. "Hey Mami when am I going to be starting school?" I asked Camilla. "Tomorow Luz!" Camilla said from the kitchen. I sighed and decided I would go to bed early. 'I'm really not looking forward to this new school...' I thought. Maybe just maybe I will like it here...
