Dreams and Nightmares

(TRAUMA ALERT⚠! If you are uncomfortable with reading stuff like this then please read till this pops up ~. Please don't force yourselves to read this if you have had stuff like this happen to you. I hate seeing and hearing about people being sad. Again please please don't read these parts if you are uncomfortable with this stuff.)

By the way, in this chapter, there will be an intense backstory dream. For those who have dealt with stuff like this, I will leave a summary of the part at the end of the chapter. If you do wish to read it then

Luz POV

Luckily they went outside to do their dual. I followed them but kept my distance. 

The first shot was fired. 

The fireball hit right where Eda had been standing a moment before. "You can't catch me, Lily!" Eda said, taunting her. "Edalyn you are making this very difficult!" Lilith screamed and shot another fireball. 

I hid behind a tree as I watched the intense battle going on before my eyes. Eda finally went on offense. She shot a fireball but missed and shot the tree I was behind. I was too late to dodge the fireball and it burnt my side in the process. I yelped in pain and Eda and Lilith both turned around.

"There she is," Lilith said with an evil smirk. She saw the fear in my eyes and hesitated a moment before casting a binding spell on me. "Eda!" I yelled. Eda didn't have much time to react. I was flown into the sky and towards the Emperor. "Knock Knock, Princesa." He said.

I woke up with sweat dripping down my face. "What the..." I murmured to myself. (SORRY BUT I HAD TO MAKE A VERY REALISTIC DREAM!!!) I looked at my scream alarm and saw it was 1:36 A.M. I sighed, pulled off the covers, and walked downstairs. 

I grabbed a glass and filled it with water and downed it quickly. The dream still shook me up. I could still hear his menacing voice. 'Knock Knock, Princesa'. By the time I went back upstairs it was 3:20. I sighed and read some books on Padwatt on my scroll. When I finished one of the books it was 5:59. I decided to shower to clear my mind. (Real Quick it is a Sunday so Luz doesn't have to go to school.)

I sat on the couch and watched a movie on the crystal ball called Klifford the Small Blue Griffen. When I finished it I looked at the time and saw it was close to 7 in the morning. I checked on Mami and she was still asleep.

The "Emperor's" voice is still nagging me. I started having hallucinations of him in front of me. The hallucinations smirked at me and circled me. "Weakling!" They hissed. I held my head and backed into the wall, falling to my knees. "Leave me alone!" I yelled, trying to get them out of my head. 

I felt someone hug me and everything just went away. "Mija are you alright?" Mami asked me. I shook my head no and cried hard into her shoulder.

After a while I wiped my eyes and nose and sat up, telling her all about the nightmare. "I'm going to hit that man with the la chancla..." Mami muttered. The thought made me snicker.

Mami helped me fall asleep a little while later.

Amity POV

I walked through the empty halls of the Blight Manor. I saw something shining through Dad's workshop. As I walked closer and opened the door I was engulfed in a bright flash of light.

I shielded my eyes and slowly walked into the workshop. There was abomination goo everywhere. I walked over to my father's workbench and picked up a paper.

Suddenly the paper disappeared from my hands and I started falling. When I stopped falling I was in my room, but something was off... I felt something sharp poking my hand that made me wake up from this strange nightmare.

(Still Amity POV)

I woke up and was sweating. I saw I had fallen asleep by accident. It was only 6 pm. I opened my door and was face to face with my mother, with that cold look in her eyes.

"Amity, I saw your grade on your abominations assignment. Why was it a B- instead of an A+?" She said in such a calm voice it sent shivers down my spine. "I'm sorry, mother. I-It won't happen again." I said. 

"I'm sure it won't happen again." She said as she smacked my cheek hard. I stumbled and was debating on running. "You worthless excuse of a child." She spat with venom. 

I knew not to say anything from the other times... She backed me against the wall and forced me onto the ground. "Pathetic." She said. She kicked me in my stomach and I let out what sounded like a whimper. She kicked me repeatedly until I felt sick.

I knew I had bruises all over my body and I knew it would be very hard at school the next day. She grabbed my hair and lifted me off the ground. She made me stand up and then she sent another painful blow to my face, hitting my nose hard and making my face bleed a bit.

I was sobbing and that seemed to make her stop. "Blights only get the highest of grades and are always on top. Remember that dear." She said and turned around, leaving.

I hugged myself, crying. Everything hurt so much. When will it end...

Summary for the first warning with Luz.

So Belos and sleep deprivation had made her see a whole bunch of things that weren't there and she felt alone and scared. (I just realized that was a reference to "Labyrinth Runners" episode 18 of TOH.)

Summary for the second warning with Amity

Odaila abuses Amity for getting a bad grade. She has done this many times before to Amity and nothing has happened yet. Amity feels broken and hurt physically. She hates her mom and would like nothing more to run away but she can't...

Im sorry for this chapter but I promise the next one will be good and hopeful.
