Sometimes, I look in the mirror and wonder why I decided to become an idol. It's very fun and exciting, but everything comes with consequences. It's tiring, and it's hard to be conscious of your diet at every part of the day.

"Winner of the Girl Group Rookie Award Artist..." The MC said, as tension built up. It was definitely between my group and BLOOM. We caught each other staring at each other and quickly looked away. "It is MUSICNOTE!"

We got up, gently clapping to ourselves as we were congratulated by senior groups. After one minute, we slowly started to walk up on the stage like we were instructed to do. Taking the trophy, my group's leader stood in front of the mic.

"Hello! Thank you for this amazing award. We, MUSICNOTE, couldn't have made it without our fans. MusicTimes! We are so grateful for your guy's presence. Thank you for supporting us, and we will continue to work harder." Sohee unnie smiled brightly as the crowd cheered. She motioned me towards the mic.

"Hello, MusicTimes!" I allowed my ears to take in some of the cheering. "It's always been our dream to debut, but we didn't possibly think that we would be able to earn this well known prize. MUSICNOTE will continue to work harder and make beautiful music for you guys to listen to!" I stepped back as Sohee unnie came to the front again.

"On the line! Bye, this was MUSICNOTE!" The six of us bowed as we rushed towards backstage.

"Now, we will have a performance by..." Running towards our rehearsal room, me and my members sat down on the sofa.

"We're next, right?" Yumi asked heavily.

I nodded. "Right after this song. We can do this, fighting!"

"Fighting!"

"And next... we have a performance by MUSICNOTE!" The stage darkened as I saw Yeeun get ready.

The stage Yeeun was on started to rise, but the front was covered with curtains, so fans weren't able to see anything yet. Slowly, as fans began cheering, she ripped open the curtains as the intro music began to play.

The music began to fill a higher tension as the rest of us rose from our cubicles.

"Fireworks! Boom! Boom!" The intro music came to an end as we yelled the beginning to our song.

"I want to be closer, want to be a flown in the wind~" Yumi sang, performing smooth vocals. "Please just stay there, where I was before~ ooh~"

"Every time... every wish that I take~" I started to sing, taking my voice up to a high pitch. "And boom! It's all over!" I clapped my hands twice as the stage became dark. When the light turned back on, the six of us were in our starting positions.

"Time is non-existent- I can't find myself over~" Sohee sang, as we began to start the choreography.

As the song went by, time seemed to go by quickly as we went backstage again.

"That was great, guys!" Our manager told us as he ushered us into our makeup rooms to get us back on the stage. "You totally rocked the stage!" He smiled and grabbed Sohee. "The group is so lucky to have you."

Me and my group members exchanged looks. Of course, he was going to start comparing us again.

"Yumi! Your dances weren't looking sharp today. Work on them, please. Yeeun! Try being more dramatic when you get on stage. And Sowon...you were the worst! Your makeup even started to come off! As for Sohee...you totally rocked the stage! Don't brother practicing this weekend, just get some rest. The rest of you, scram!"

Yumi, Yeeun, and I jogged away from where Sohee and the manager were standing. "God, he's the worst. And why isn't Sohee unnie speaking up for us? She's just standing there like a pitiful person."

"Maybe she's scared-"

"Our manager couldn't hit her even he wanted to. He treasures her too much. So what is she worrying about?"

I bit my lip, knowing that I couldn't argue against that. Whenever our manager would scold us, Sohee would cower behind him, never saying a word. Even as a leader, she has to know that it's wrong.

"She's so fake. Always acting like the best leader on stage-"

"Okay, that's enough, Yumi. It's not like Sohee is a bad leader..." Yeeun trailed off.

Yumi scoffed. "Are you seriously defending her right now? After what you just saw? And how is makeup coming off our fault? It's not like we do our own!"

I raised my hand, asking to speak. "Sohee is acting out of turn lately, but your younger than her and you shouldn't be speaking that way, Yumi."

Yumi sighed dramatically. "You guys just don't understand. The only side you take on a daily basis is Sohee unnie anyways. It doesn't matter who doesn't like us in favor. Everyone loves Sohee unnie so much that no matter how fake she is, she's still loved. Wow, imagine being able to relate." Yumi stormed away, ignoring our calls.

"She just angry," Yeeun explained, but we both grew silent. Yumi was right, except that we honestly couldn't do anything. Everyone thought that Sohee was an angel, which she sort of is? But sort of not.

Suddenly, Sohee unnie started walking out of our dressing room and came towards us. "Guys, we have to get back to the audience seats- where's Yumi?"

Yeeun and I just smiled and dragged Sohee towards the stage level. "She's probably in the restroom." Or punching the wall to take out her anger.
