Today was the day I was going on my first hunt. Not only was I excited about hunting in itself, our first case seemed to be vamps. I had moved into an actual room upstairs and on the way down, I saw a man sitting on my couch. I snuck up on him and pulled out a knife that I kept in my pocket. I walked slowly and put the knife to his throat, and said "Who the hell are you?" When he didn't answer right away, I pushed the knife a little farther into his throat. "That won't kill me, you know." He said. I thought for a second. If it was a demon, shifter, or werewolf: silver would do the trick. I used telekinesis to get my angel blade into my hand and I switched the weapon instantaneously. "Now tell me, what are you? You're obviously affected by an angel blade." I said smirking and pushing it further against his skin and he let out a gasp. "RORY, NO. He's okay." Dean screamed running in the house. "WHAT THE HELL IS IT?" I screamed. "He's an angel. He's an angel that helps us. You don't kill him!" He responded by taking the angel blade out of my hand. "Oh you mean the same way you were going to kill me?" I scoffed at Dean and he didn't say anything. "His name is Castiel. I'm sorry we didn't tell you about him." Sam said, walking in after hearing all the commotion. "Cas, this is Bobby's daughter, the Nephilim. We told you about her on the way." Sam said to Cas. "I see. She's much feistier than you all made her seem." Castiel said with no emotion. "Alright big day, Rory you ready?" Sam asked me. I nodded, choosing to ignore the fact the monster hunters were working with what hunters would consider monsters. But whatever.

We all got in the Impala. Dean and Sam were in the front while me and Castiel were in the back. I was on the driver's side. Dean put on Bon Jovi and Sam began complaining. "You don't like Bon Jovi?" I asked Sam. "You do?" He responded almost immediately. I heard Dean scoff and he said "See brother, I told you. Bon Jovi rocks." He laughed then sped off. "Rory, we're going to be driving for about 17 hours before we stop at a motel? Are you going to be okay?" Sam asked. "Of course she'll be fine, she's not a baby." Dean interrupted. "Yeah Sam, I'll be fine." I responded. I had the sense that Dean didn't like me much but he was the one that agreed to help Bobby, not just Sam. After a while, I just kind of drifted off.

"Rory, come on. We're at the motel." Sam said, slightly rocking my shoulders. I thanked him and got my bag and went inside the room. Castiel was sitting on one of the beds, staring at a wall. "Hi Castiel. I wanted to apologize for trying to kind of kill you. I didn't know you knew the Winchesters." I said sitting next to him. "Please, Call me Cas. And it's fine I would've done the same thing had I been in your position. You've had a lot going on in the last couple days." He told me still staring at the wall. "You got that right." I said chuckling and rubbing the back of my neck.

"Here." Dean said handing me a black wallet looking thing. I opened it and it was a picture of me and it said FBI with the name Rebecca Miller. "Cool." He scowled at my comment. "I made one for the others too, like animal control and stuff. It's all in the car." He said before leaving. "Don't mind him, he still doesn't trust me." I just nodded in response. On the way to the motel, they had stopped to get food. Sam, Dean and me all ate chicken before we clocked in for the night. There was only 2 beds. "I'll take the floor. You can have the bed." Dean said looking at me. "Are you sure?" I asked. He nodded and laid down in the middle of the 2 beds. Sam turned the lights out but I still felt bad that he was on the floor. I threw a comforter and a pillow down to him. I saw the shape of him jump then heard a muttered "Thanks." Sam and Dean already seemed to be asleep. Before I fell asleep, I watched Cas, he just sat at the little table in the kitchen area. He back was to me. "Is everything okay?" He spoke suddenly making me jump a little. It was a little creepy, but I've been one to feel presences too so I wasn't mad or anything. In fact, I used to freak my father out by speaking to him when he walked in the room. He never made much noise but I knew he was there. "Yeah, Cas I'm fine." I told him. I got up and sat at the little table with him. "Are you okay?" I asked him looking straight ahead like he was. "Yes, I am okay. I'm am just a little worried." He said blankly. "What are you worried about?" I asked looking at him. He looked at me sternly and said, "Rory, I don't think you know the power you possess. If you get in the wrong hands. It will be very bad. You seem like a good person. But when you grow into your full power and you're in said wrong hands, you could destroy everything." I looked away, it felt like his eyes were burning into my soul. "I think I'm going to try and get some sleep." I said and got up. I wasn't ready for that conversation. I knew about the power a Nephilim could possess, but only from reading the lore. Cas didn't say anything. He could probably sense my nervousness. I laid down and forced myself to sleep just a little.
