"The actions of our agent in Phoenix have borne fruit, this cannot be denied. Yet while the initial results are beyond question, what can be called into question are the after-effects of such blatant force. These are not the nights when we could walk through the night killing as we pleased and held noble barons under our thrall. There are cameras, this damn internet, and a Second Inquisition that uses them all.

The death of one of their best field agents, and the destruction of an entire mansion overlooking a whole city, will not be forgotten. And what of our other enemies? We have our hand to them, and while the Inquisition may take pause and act covertly, what of the other sects? The Anarchs will not appreciate the elimination of their friends in the area. And who knows what the fanatics of the Sabbat are planning.

It is my conclusion that we should break ties with the individual responsible for this upheaval. Archon though he may be, Isaac Sharpe has taken too many liberties in his duties. In addition to his already lavish position, he has become Prince of Phoenix in all but name. What can this be but the building of a power base? My friends of the Camarilla, we must consider the possibility that Archon Sharpe has far-reaching plans that may eclipse even our influence. An ambitious fool like him, with such a disregard for our covert practices, will surely bring the end of Kindred everywhere.

I ask then, before this assembly, that Isaac Sharpe be stripped of his position, and left to the mercies of his enemies. His death will certainly buy the rest of us time to hold our own defenses."

Dismissed appeal by Alexey Volgrad for the excommunication of Isaac Sharpe.

Document to be memorized then destroyed.
