Opening my eyes I could feel the cold surface pressing against my face. A part of my cheek had this liquid smearing on it. I lifted my head and wiped my face. My eyes could barely open and adjust to the bright light that seared through my eyelids.

"So this is what we'll be doing for Spirit Week. If we make sure the teachers join in on this, then it'll up the chances on how the students participate in this," Angela said.

"I could ask some of those who're still in the building," Mori said. I then felt a nudge, I peered over to it and saw Lily there. Her eyes stared into my soul.

"Finally you're awake! This is why I shouldn't let you take naps in meetings!" Lily complained.

I yawned. "Not like you're any better," I retorted whilst in the middle of it. Lily scoffed at me.

"What's wrong with a good nap?" Sarah chimed in. Slightly lifting her head before placing it back down on the desk. "I do it all the time."

"Hey!" Chloe shouted. "Pay attention!"

I wiped my eyes as I focused on what was happening. Monday's weren't exactly anyone's forte... Exhausting from how much work I forgot to do after spending the night at Lily's place. Then going on a date with her... Did I say 'date'? It wasn't a date! It was just two besties hanging out to rejoice in old memories... Totally...

"So. Karma, what do you think about having a 'Fancy Friday'? We dress in our best formal clothing,"

I looked up at Chloe, who was holding a whiteboard with multiple options for the week. Some of which already had voted on it. Fancy Friday and Gender Bender were tied. 2 on 2. I know I didn't vote so who was the other person? Well, obviously besides the seventh person who I've never met yet. I wonder who she was.

"What do you think, Karma?" Lily asked me, "I won't vote until you do."

So it was Lily who didn't vote? I thought about it for some time, examining how it could work out. Honestly, I want to see how those suits will do for us, students. I voted for Fancy Friday and so did Lily. Angela clapped her hands together.

"Alright, so on Monday we'll do PJ Day. Tuesday: Movie/Character Day, both of which are self-explanatory. Wednesday: Color Mash. Where each Grade level has a specific color that they have to wear. Thursday: Teacher Day where we dress up as a teacher of our choosing. And of course Friday: Fancy Friday." Angela then pointed at me and Lily. "You two, work on making fliers for the project while Sarah will assist you guys in case a student is unable to participate and needs something to wear." She then points to Mori. "You do your job and take notes, pictures, you know what to do. Document our methods! I will get in touch with April and will inform you of your next steps. Chloe will go and inform the teachers and Ms. Quin about this as well."

Throughout all of that, Mori was already taking notes. Taking photos and recording a bit of Angela's planning.

"Well, that is a pretty fair arrangement," Lily said. No one else really had any objections to the roles we were given so yeah. So this is our first assignment-- well, my first assignment anyways. Angela pulled out her phone as she began to call someone, Chloe had left the room.

Lily and I immediately looked up some photos and planned our next move together. Mori came over to write down how we were doing and our step-by-step process. Even taking photos of us discussing with one another, we created docs and templates on how it would go out.

"I'm sure these photos would look great! Now that we have a new member, maybe the people would listen to us this time," Mori said. Smiling at the photo she took of me and Lily. I then peered over to Sarah who was still asleep. How was she able to fall asleep in such a short amount of time with the lights searing through her eyelids, and all this discussion and movement?
