I crept very carefully into Emma's room it was about two in the morning but I couldn't sleep. Five years ago Emmas parents were killed. Now the murderer is caught. You would think it brings her peace. But Kingston Runekeeper, doesn't have enough strength to wrestle a full man shadowhunter to the ground and draw a rune on him.
Emma is awake like expected. "Em?" I ask esging in her room quietly, silently. She is reading. But she sets down her book. "Hey." She says tiredly. "Nightmares?" I ask and she nods. I lay next to her and shut off her light. Which consists of a witchlight lamp. Emma rests her head on my shoulder. We don't talk just lie there. "He's not the one!" Emma says after a long while. "Who?" I ask not opening up my eyes. "The Runekeeper boy!" Em says and I crack open a eye. "You sure?" I ask, she nods. "Im getting him out of the Silent City, though. Him and his friend." Emma states. I think It through first before answering: "Okay, I'll go with you!" I said she looks at me gratefully. "We're parabatia; we can never seperate." I add. Em smiles hovering above me. "We are parabatia in love with one another!!" She corrects as she leans down and kisses me, and all I can do is forget.
