cant sleep.

i kept turning all through the the night. billie was fast asleep next to me. i couldn't help but look at her, her beautiful face, she looked so peaceful. the way she just looked perfect during anything she ever did. i laid face to face with billie and tried to fall asleep. it never worked. i got up to take a hot shower hoping to calm myself.

i walked over to our closet and grabbed one of billies t-shirts and some underwear. i walked to our bathroom which was connected to our room. i checked my phone, 3:45 am it read. i quickly got undressed and got in. around 10 minutes later i heard a knock at the door.

"baby, come to bed" billie said in a tired voice.

"i'm in the shower love. i'll be out in a sec"

she came in and sat on the counter waiting for me. we had a small conversation about her dream she had about me. when i got out i was greeted by a messy haired billie in her hoodie and shorts. she gave me a quick kiss and helped me get dressed.

i immediately felt more relaxed. she rubbed lotion on my legs and took me to bed.

"why'd you get outta bed mama?" she asked.

"couldn't sleep" i said as i laid back down.

she cuddled next to me helping me relax. she turned on our favorite show to help us fall back asleep.

"go to sleep baby. i'm right here." she said as she drifted off back to sleep. hearing those words made me more calm. knowing billie is right next to me shows that i have nothing to worry about. it stopped my mind from wondering off into those bad thoughts i always had.

she held me tight as she fell asleep. i eventually did as well in my lovers arms. i felt so safe and clam.

"goodnight bils" i said as i officially drifted off to sleep.
