"It's unfair." A short, orange haired man grumped out hoarsely, laying stretched out on a black leather couch with his arms going above and behind his head. The guy that walked past him softly nodded without saying anything. "Guys! Guys! We don't know anything yet! We might like him..." A fluffy bowl-cut haired man who sat on the other couch waved his arms in soft protest.

"Tae. We know that you are an optimist but we don't want to hear it right now." A man that was standing in the kitchen softly muttered and the man now known as Tae flaunted a soft grimace at him which he couldn't see with his broad back turned. "I saw that." The orange haired man laying on the couch sleepily muttered with one eye halfway opened.

Tae's cheeks reddened out of embarrassment and he quickly looked the other way.

Shaye was very, very confused.

He'd been stuck in a small room by himself even though the woman accompanying him had said that they were in a hurry. So he took the opportunity to look around. It was a well lit room with light grey coloured walls, it had a bookshelf full of glass trophies. In the middle of the room was a round black table with grey office chairs around it, which was where Shaye was sitting down. He had his dirty backpack clutched to his chest and stared at the door anxiously.

After a couple of long silent minutes there was a soft series of knocks on the black wooden door frame and a group of tall attractive men lead by the same woman that had showed him around walked in and took their seats around the round black table in the middle of the room and looked at him wearily. Nobody said anything and the silence was thick. He was terrified of being correct, but he recognised some of them from Jungwoo's posters, were they.. BTS?

He'd seen the group of seven on different kinds of posters in Jungwoo's room throughout the years, his best friend was a big fan. Whenever Shaye had been over to his house they'd listen to their music and it made them both feel giddy but now the seven men from the posters were sitting in front of him and he felt no way near giddy, he felt horrified.

The woman, who had a silver name tag that he hadn't noticed before had the name Lee Seok-Gi etched into it, sat up straighter in her chair and with a awkward clearing of her throat she started speaking. "Mr Min? Why don't you introduce yourself?" She said to break the awful tension, her voice assertive but compassionate. It made Shaye want to die on the inside, literally.

He hesitated but gave a subtle nod, straightening his posture slightly and loosening the death grip he had on his poor backpack, "u-um.. Hello.." He said politely and made a slight bow with his head, "M-My name is Min Shaye and um.. I am 19 almost 20 y-years old. I have a 2 year e-education in dance, um.. media and uhm.. m-modeling.." his cheeks reddened a bit out of embarrassment, he always found it embarrassing to talk about as if he was some self obsessed snob but he just wanted to follow the footsteps of his poor mother.

There were a few slow nods among the men and a short purple haired man quietly raised his hand, "How will you contribute to this group?" A furrowed brow was what he noticed first and it was enough to make him look away shyly. "I-.. um.. Dance, singing um.. the things I'm supposed to be doing.. I-I guess?" he'd been tapping his leg on the floor from even before they'd come in and it was getting very fast and loud, making the air even thicker then before.

He mumbled more to himself than anyone else, "..didn't really sign up for this.." which made Seok-Gi frown sternly at him, she wanted a good impression from him but it wasn't going to be easy. She noted something down on her clipboard with her black ball point pen but stayed just as quiet as she was before. It was horrible for Shaye, he could hear his own little heart beating in his ears, his pulse was beating like a bass through his wrists, he felt like he couldn't breathe and that was exactly what was happening.

In the very, very quiet room, a loud bang came from Shaye's office chair hitting the concrete floor and a winding noise came from the black wheels spinning in the air as he ran out of there, leaving his backpack behind, his hand clutching the base of his neck with a panicked expression, gasping for air and the door shut behind him with a bang. Seok-Gi sighed out loud, this was exactly what she didn't want to happen today. She'd heard that he was timid but she didn't know it was this bad.

Shaye heaved, In and out, heavy panicked breaths. He was clutching his knees to his chest sitting on top of a toilet seat in one of the stalls, tears streaming down his face, he was panicking hard. He'd kind of realized how bad he'd fucked up, how with the note he'd left he couldn't really go 'home' even though it wasn't really much of a home to begin with or how he'd gotten recklessly involved with something that was way, way, way over his head.

He heard the bathroom door open and he clasped his hand over his mouth in a panic, trying not to breathe so they wouldn't hear him there but he already was struggling to, his chest was burning up and it felt like his whole body was pounding, tears streamed down his cheeks. Eventually when they didn't leave he realized he had to take a breath and removed his hand, inhaling like it was the first breath he'd ever taken although it made him cough and hiccup loudly.

"...Mr Min?" Shaye's eyes widened, who was it? Why did they know his name? Was it security? They wanted to throw the nut job out for disturbing the peace? "I'm sorry if we panicked you.. sincerely, I know it's very difficult.. heh, I remember I was practically shitting myself when I had to meet the others.." a kind voice spoke softly from behind the door of the stall he was in.
