A Little Late, Don't You Think

Chapter 22- Joey POV

Hey guys. I just started school again and I'm kinda happy. You guys are lucky becauseI don't really have a lot of homework. That is when I decided to write. Here is chapter 22.

Ring, ring, eing, ring. My phones wakes me up from an amazing sleep. Valerie is cuddling next to me. I grab my phone from the night stand and answer it.

"Hello?" I say in a tired vioce.

"Hello Joey. This is your mother. I called Mikes house and askd to speak to you, but Mike mom told me you are at Hawaii." my mother says in a calm voice.

"Yeah mom I'm in Hawaii. Did you not see the note that I left you." I explain to her.

"Of course I got your note. and the note said you were going to Mike house not Hawaii. I would ell you to come home, but you don't have enough money to catch a plan so you can saty there, but when you get back you are in deep trouble." My mom tells me and hangs up. I roll my eyes and put my phone back on the night stand until Ms.Valerie wakes up.

"Who was that?" she yawns.

"It was my mom." I tell her.

"Okay. I'm going to the bathroom to freshen up, then we can order room service or we can go down to the hotels cafe and eat dinner there." She says.

"Okay that would be good. Let me wake up Mike and we can get going." I explain to her. She nods and leaves for the bathroom. I walk to Mike and I try to wake him up, but he is a heavy sleeper. I shake, shake and shake him until he starts cursing me out in his sleep.I roll my eyes and walk away. There is no way waking him. I grab the menu and look at through it seeing what I want. Valerie comes out the bathroom looking better than when she woke up.

"Were you able to wake up Mike?" Valerie asks me.

"No, I just left him. I was thinking we stay here. We can rent a movie and get dinner and snacks." I tell her and she nods.

"I think that would be an amazing idea." She says with a smile.I laugh and hear a muffle and see Mike waking up. He rubs his eyes and waves an hello at us and we just laugh. Mike rols his eyes gets up and heads to the bathroom. When he comes out he is more wide awake and ready to speak.

"What do you guys want to eat? " Mike says and we all glance at the menus.

"Are you guys ready to order becuase I have eveything I want." Mike says. We nod in agreement and I pick up the phone.

"Hi. I would like to put in a room service order. I would like a Hawaiian Salad, A burger with cheese, onion, lettecue, and mayo and can I have the Hawaiian rice and chicken grilled please. For drinks I would like a sprite, fruit punch and pepsi. Also I would like Starwberry, Cookies and cream with rainbow sprinkles, and Chocolate ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. That would be all."

"okay know what room are you in?" The person asks.

"We are in room 25." I tell him.

"Okay we will b there in 20 or less minutes. Have a good day." The person tells me and hangs up. We gather around Mike becuase we are about to look at the map.

"Okay so this map shows Hawaii. All we have to do is find this forest. I can't see the name, but we can ask around for things we can't read. After we enter the forest we would have to walk for a couple of days until we get to the Valcano. Once we get there we have to find a hiden door in one of the trees. We go in walk around and look for the necklace. That it and that is all. We willn't be there long and we willn't do shit that can possibly harm us. In and out." MIke explains to us. We take every infromation he gives and and nod in agreement.

"I'm glad that is done. I picked the Scary Movie 1-5. We can watch that until tomorrow and then we can start looking for the necklace." Valerie says.

"Yeah that will be good." I say and Mike nods. We hear a knock at the door and Valerie answers it. It was are food. The lady brings it in and places the food on a table. We thank he lady and she leaves. We all grab everything we wanted. Me and Valerie climb in are bed and Mike climbs into his and we start to watch the first movie of the Scary Movie series.
