A Little Late, Don't You Think

Chapter 23- Valerie POV

Hi guys. I'm sorry I have not updated in like 3 days. I been so busy with testing and stuff. I had some issues with a friendship and I'm trying to deal with that, but I'm not really getting answer's, so I don't care any more. Friend or not I don't care. Anyway I'm hoping you guys are enjoying the book. I will try to update as much as possible, but it isn't easy. Let me stop talking about my self and let us get to the book. Chapter 23- Valerie POV.

I wake up to something speaking to me. I try to ignore it, but it isn't easy. " Can you shut the hell up!" I scream half sleep half wake. I open my eyes and I see the TV is on playing Scary movie 4 or 5. I grab the remote and shut it off. I look around and I see some food was left from are junk rage last night. I start cleaning up and I call room service to get breakfast up here. I know today is the day we are leaving for the woods. After I call room service, I jump in the shower to try to wake myself up. I get out and throw on my black leather skirt with my black and blue diamond obey shirt. I put on my black and whit sneakers and walk out.

"Good morning sunshine. How did you sleep?" Joey greets me with a kiss.

"Great." I tell him kissing him back. When I hear a bang on the nightstand. It was just Mike he hit his hand.

"Fuck man that shit really hurt." Mike is saying out loud. Me and Joey laugh.

"Good morning Mike. How did you sleep?" I ask him.

"Great. I mean besides hurting my hand great. Joey you using the bathroom first or me?" Mike asks Joey while I go open the door.

"You can go Mike." Joey says. The lady brings in breakfast and takes the food from last night. Mike comes out with some shorts and a tank top. Mike sits and grabs his breakfast and Joey comes out doing the same.

"After this are we leaving Mike?" I ask because I have a bag ready already.

"Yeah that is the plan. Let try to hurry up. I quicker we leave the quicker we can come back." Mike says. We pack some of the food from the fridge in a clothes bag and head out. Mike says we will be gone for 2 days, but packed enough for about a week. We head out the hotel room and we head to woods. We hop in a cab and head off.

I guess I looked worried because Joey was rubbing my back calming me down. We get to the woods and we thank the cab driver and pay him. We walk to were we think it is the first part of the woods. Mike takes out the map and we head north.

"Okay look I love you guys, but where are we heading to first?" I ask because I needed to know.

"Well we are heading to a cave because we can eat lunch there and then we will rest. After that we walk a little more stay and camp out in another cave and then start again tomorrow." Mike says and I honestly think that is a good plan. We walk for a couple of my hours and we see it already 3:00 pm. We start to climb up picking sticks along the way. When we finally enter and start to set up for lunch. Mike is looking at the map probably deciding if we should stay here or keep going.

"Lunch is ready!" Joey screams and Mike jogs over. We all grab a sandwich and some water.

"Okay, so I mean I think we could make it to the next cave spotting by 12:00 am tonight. Do you guys agree or disagree? If you disagree then we can stay here and start walking tomorrow." Mike says.

"I think we should keep walking." I say and Joey agrees. We pack are stuff up and head off. We walk and walk and honestly I feel like we are getting nowhere, but when we see the second sets of caves and I glance at my watch it says 11:00 pm. I grab sticks and stuff and the boys do the same. Once we enter the cave I seat up the fire while to boys get the pillows and stuff ready.

"Okay guys fires done. I'm warming up some pasta. It will hold us off until morning." I explain to them and they rush over.

"Thanks babe. This looks great." Joey says.

"Thanks Val. This taste amazing." Mike says happily.

"Shut up and take the water bottles." I say while handing it to them. After eating I clean up and the guys get the light source ready. Once I'm done, I change in some PJ'S that I brought. When I'm done the guys are already changed and Joey is motioning me to sleep next to him. I go and cuddle next to him and while he is holding me tight I start to doze off in a sleepy gaze.

Okay guys that was chapter 23. Sorry I'm only able to update once, but I mean it is a lot right? I'm happy that I was able to update since 3 days. I'm glad that I did. It getting late and I have to get ready for school please comment and vote :-)
