It was a Wednesday night when I was sitting on my bed,wondering why my parents left the house this late saying "it was an emergency".
Lots of thoughts came to my mind but immediately vanished as my 19 years old sister,Anna, entered the room with bloodshot eyes and a red face.
Anna is studying abroad so I don't get to see her much except on Holidays, which makes it weird that she's home , because clearly there isn't any upcoming holidays.
When she entered my room she kept comforting me and saying that "it's going to be okay" and "it's alright" but the problem is, I don't even know what's happening.
I left the room searching for my other 17 year old sister Lily, to ask her what's going on.
But in the moment I saw her crying too, it meant that something is seriously wrong.
Lily never cries.
My younger brother,Thomas,and I, tried to think of the reasons why they're crying, and why my parents left the house at 1:00 a.m.
I kept on thinking, until the thought
hit me, and I was praying it wasn't the reason Im thinking of.
