I couldn't think of a name :')

Miles is a robot. Phoenix is amazed how life-like he looks.

Detroit Become Human Au - Phoenix and Miles basically take the positions of Carl and Markus but Phoenix is 25 and they have more of a romantic relationship. Miles is an RK-200 model just like Markus. Also takes place same year as the game takes place :)

Miles walked inside as the front door opened and greeted him as he entered, he placed the box of paints on the vanity by the door before removing his jacket, after hanging it up he gently pulled at his gloves and folded them nicely before slipping in one of the jacket pockets. After running a few diagnostic tests over the security of the home Miles saw the notice his system gave to look for Phoenix, "Phoenix?" Miles called immediately after, wondering if the painter was still asleep or was awake and in the studio. Deciding on the more likely option Miles started walking upstairs making his way to Phoenix's room, opening the door his optics had to adjust to the dark room, his LED only letting off the smallest amount of blue light. Miles’s noticed the sleeping figure on the bed as he walked over to where the window was.

Opening the curtains let the light that filtered through the clouds brightened the room enough to wake the sleeping man, Phoenix hissed as he covered his eyes at the sudden change in lighting. "Good morning, Phoenix." Miles smiled as he spoke, Phoenix muttering a small good morning as he sat up and stretched. "It's 10am. The weather's partly cloudy, 54°, 80% humidity, with a strong possibility of afternoon showers." Phoenix chuckled as he let himself slouch while looking at the Android by the window, scratching the light stubble on his jaw. "Sounds lovely, perfect day to spend in bed asleep." Miles smile remained as he walked over to the door again, waiting for Phoenix to actually get up before going to do the rest of his morning routine. "This is why you shouldn't stay up working. Though I did go pick up the paint you ordered." Phoenix swung his legs over the edge of the bed getting up and walking over to his Android placing his hand on the machines cheek, "It still amazes me how life like you look Miles," Phoenix paused, "Hard to believe you'll out live me..." Phoenix mumbled before leaning in and leaving a kiss on Miles’s temple, the one with the LED. "Anyway thank you Miles, I'll be down in a few. Can you get breakfast ready?" Miles nodded and turned on his heel before leaving and letting Phoenix get ready for the day.

Grabbing the silver platter, utensils and mug Miles placed them on the tray neatly before grabbing it and bringing it to the dining table. Phoenix coming down a few seconds later with his hair still a bit damp and a clean face, he smiled when he saw Miles and the tray slipping into the dining room chair he let Miles place the plate infront of him and pour him coffee. "Thank you Miles, it smells delicious. Why don't you find something to do while I finish eating?" Phoenix gestured to the living room while he grabbed his fork with his other hand, nodding Miles walked over to the chessboard looking at it for a few seconds before moving over to the piano. Sitting on the plush chair he thought of what what to play while his hands hovered over the keys, gently pressing down on the first note he started to play. Phoenix finished and placed everything back on the tray before placing it in the kitchen and walking over to the piano, enjoying the melody of the song being played as the gentle notes Miles played slowly got more and more complex and full of emotion.

After the final string of notes Miles brought his attention to Phoenix, who only grabbed one of his hands still on the piano and smiled brightly at him before it faltered. "Phoenix? Are you alright?" Miles placed a hand on Phoenix's cheek, concerned for his person's well-being. "I'm okay Miles, just thinking..." Phoenix's smile turned into a frown as he sat next to Miles on the piano bench, his hands grabbing and squeezing the warm, lifelike mechanical ones of Miles. "One day, I won't be here to take care of you anymore. You'll have to make choices on your own and protect yourself, decide who you are and want to be..." Miles looked down thinking through what Phoenix was saying, "You'll out live me Miles, but I'll still continue to love you no matter what." Phoenix put his head to Miles’s, his thumb brushing over the Android's knuckles.

"Let's go to the studio huh? I wanna paint you today." Phoenix smile returned and so did Miles’s ever so slightly, they stood up, their hands still intertwined as they walked into the studio. Miles forced himself to let go as he got the area prepared for Phoenix while he put on a apron, Phoenix walked Miles over to the paint covered stool and Miles sat nicely with his hands in his lap and his knees together, Phoenix adjusting small details before he backed away and turned back to the empty canvas. Hours later Phoenix yawned and stretched hearing his back pop, "Miles what time is it?" Phoenix looked over to the Android, "9:45pm." Phoenix nodded and placed his pallet down, taking off his apron and hanging it up while Miles covered the halfway finished painting of himself.

Just as Miles was about to head off to finish cleaning a few more things he was pulled away by Phoenix, sitting him down on the bed as the painter walked over to close his curtains. Stripping off his shirt and socks he crawled under his duvet and pulled Miles under with him. "Phoenix we shouldn't be slee-" Phoenix kissed between Miles shoulders before mumbling into his neck, "Shh, I'm tired and it's fine. Just tonight I promise..." Phoenix pulled Miles closer and soon feel asleep, leaving Miles to run some final diagnostic tests before letting himself go into stasis, making him miss the small whispered 'I love you.' into his neck.

"Miles? Can you play me a song, like you used to on the piano?" Miles held back tears as he looked at the old man laying I bed, just propped up enough to look directly at Miles. It's been years since Miles deviated and the two of them got married even though they both knew one life would be cut short compared to the other, even still Miles held the frail hand and smiled. "Of course Phoenix, any requests?" Phoenix thought for a moment, before wheezing out a weak laugh.

"That old one you found after we first got engaged, what was it called..." Miles knew immediately what song and stood up and kissed Phoenix's forehead. "Married Life it is." The Android walked over to the piano they moved into their shared bedroom after Phoenix got sick the first time, sitting down Miles paused as he went through years of information trying to find the notes to that old song. After finding it Miles pressed the notes letting the gentle melody fill the room, his eyes closed as he let himself get lost in the music. He hit the final notes and pulled his hands away to wipe at the tears that fell, he turned back around to his partner to see him with his eyes closed and a soft smile like he was asleep but the only difference was he wasn't breathing. Miles didn't know when he passed while he was playing but he crawled into the bed next to him and held his hand, calling the funeral service they had talked about before.

The call was quick and soon the line went dead, Miles smiled letting the last of his tears fall before he closed his eyes. He would be with Phoenix, he promised. Through sickness and in health, till death do they part but even the cold claws of death couldn't keep them from eachother forever. "I love you too, Phoenix Wright." Miles whispered before he deactivated himself next to his partner.
