Alexis POV
"So what if his ex doesn't like you Stacy he does!" I snapped looking at Stacy like she had two heads. "Ok look I know I shouldn't give a fuck about what she thinks but remember she was there before me."
Stacy replied as I let out a groan. We were currently talking about her and Lucas's relationship. Apparently they both ran into his ex at the diner they went to and it was a big issue.
Looking around I couldn't let go of the feeling that I was being watched. But I had to shake it off due to me still being on the clock. Plus there was about 30 people here so nothing bad could happen right?
"Alexis the dude is back..." Stacy then spoke pushing my face gently in the direction she was looking at. I immediately saw X rushing over here looking around the room in the process. "What the fuck is he doing back here?"
I said nervously as he reached us. "Alexis we need to leave and now!" X said shouting over the music. "She's not going anywhere with you!" Stacy shouted grabbing me away from him. "I wasn't fucking asking bitch!"
X said before jumping over the counter grabbing me. He pushed Stacy onto the floor before putting me over his shoulder. That's when I saw it. It was huge lurking in the shadows looking at me with it's glowing red eyes and wide grin.
I couldn't make anything else out due to the fact it stayed in the shadows smiling at me with it's sharp white teeth. It's eyes watched as X ran with me on his shoulders out of the building and into the parking lot.
"X what the fuck was that?!? And wait I need to get my purse it has my car keys!" I said wiggling out of his hold forcefully running into the back. X was hot on my heels as I ran down the long dark hallway. "Alexis you need to hurry the fuck up!"
"It lives in the dark!" He yelled as I kicked open the dressing room door I quickly got my things together and was about to run out with him when I stopped in my tracks stifling a scream. There it was in the middle of the hallway glaring at us.
It's snarls grew louder as we sat there and watched it. "Alexis get behind me." X said quietly while I obeyed him. At this the creature let out an ear splitting howl before pouncing in our direction.
It's claws made scraping sounds on the floor as it picked up it's pace. "Alexis get to the car! I'll meet you there!" X said before sprinting at the beast. Once they were near each other X jumped into the air punching it in the face.
I could tell it got angry at this cause it shook itself and swung it's paw at X clawing his back. At this X let out a scream before they both were locked in a battle. Both fighting with the obvious intention to kill.
What did I do? I sat there shocked not knowing what to do. X tried to kick the beast in the face but it only caught his leg in it's mouth before swinging X into a room breaking the wall and door in. Fear then spread throughout my body as it faced me.
