Once Wei Wuxian is finish telling Lan Wangji, he is surprise that Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian is from the future, "Then does this mean you and I are close?"

Wei Wuxian giggle at this, "well more then close I guess. There is a time where we were all at Phoenix mountain, I ask you what am I to you? You ask me the question in return."

"And what did you said?"

"I once see you as my soulmate."

Lan Wangji heart beat very fast hearing what Wei Wuxian just said, "And what did I said?"

"Can you guess?"

"I still am." Wei Wuxian nodded his head, "that what you said."

"Then Wei Ying were you one who was playing the flute on the day we went to Caiyi town to exorcise the Aqua Demon?"

"Mn."

"Can you tell me? I won't judge you, if you and I are soulmate then I will stand by your side no matter what other people said."

"I know but I am not ready to tell you yet, can you wait until I am ready?"

Lan Wangji nodded his head, "Whenever Wei Ying is ready, then he can tell me."

That night the two of them stay up a little bit longer because Lan Wangji want to know what else happen in the future, he want to help Wei Wuxian as much as he can.

The next morning everyone gather in the same place again. Wen Chao call out, "Lan Wangji, Lan Xichen, Wei Wuxian, Jiang Wanyin, Jin Zixuan, who will recite the rule in the Wen clan scroll."

Before Wen Chao can call out the name again Lan Xichen speak up, "I will do it."

Jiang Cheng tugged on Wei Wuxian clothes, "This time you don't have to do it," he whispered into Wei Wuxian ear, who nodded his head.

Once Lan Xichen said everything is in the scroll they were sent back to their room. Even food is waiting for them, "there food isn't that good. The Lan clan food are way better even though is all vegetables."

Jiang Cheng look over at Lan Xichen, "Ah sorry Zewu Jun," Lan Xichen shook his head at this, "at least they don't starve us to death. Let's eat what we have," Jiang Cheng nodded his head.

"How can I eat something that aren't tasty?" Nie Huaisang complained since this is the first time he eat something that isn't cook by his family maid.

"Nie xiong, food is food, you don't want to starve do you? We still have to stay here for a while. Let's eat it," Jin Zixuan put a piece into his mouth, "Your right there is like no flavor in it."

"Lan Zhannnnnn how can you eat something like this? There is no taste or flavor in them. I rather have Gusu food rather then the Wen food and who cook them anyway," Wei Wuxian whined while pushing the food back and forth on the plate.

"Wei Ying, if you don't eat, you won't have enough strength for tomorrow or the walk to slaughter Xuanwu cave. I promise you that after we escaped from the cave I will treat you to anything you want to eat, how about it?"

Wei Wuxian eye lite up, "You promise me?!?!"

Lan Wangji smile, "Mn. A Lan never go back on their word."

Wei Wuxian pick up a piece of food and eat it, "gross, tasteless, no flavor, Lan zhaaaaannnn." Lan Wangji shook his head at this, "just hang in there Wei Ying."

The next morning it was the same this time they were all reading the rule. That is when Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian see the same disciple came up to Wen Chao and tell him about the cave. He tell everyone below him that today it will be different.
