"A-Cheng, you think you can find the opening at the bottom of the lake again?" Jiang Cheng nodded his head.

Wei Wuxian turn to look at the other disciple and heir, "Listen up everyone, make sure you all stay here. Don't leave this place until we get back," Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng looked at each other, they left from there but before they can leave Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen walk up to the two of them.

"Wei Ying."

Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng turn around to look at the two Lan brothers. "Where are you two going?" Lan Xichen asked while looking at Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng look rather confuse while Lan Xichen is looking at him that way as if he is worry and scare that he won't come back.

"We are going into the water to look for that opening. A-Cheng let's go," Jiang Cheng nodded his head.

The two left the cave they went out to see if the immortal monster is awake or asleep. They found the immortal beast is asleep, "let's split up," Jiang Cheng nodded his head, they got slowly into the water and begin to look for the opening at the bottom of the lake.

Wei Wuxian is the first one to get out of the water, then a minute later Jiang Cheng came up. Wei Wuxian see that the immortal beast is awake, "A-Cheng get out of the water right now!"

From inside Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji hear, "A-Cheng get out of the water right now!" Hearing this make Lan Xichen heart drop, 'Jiang Cheng!' He dash right out of there.

"Jin Zixuan, Nie Huaisang, you two stay here! Xiong zhang!" Lan Wangji ran after brother.

Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng run back to the cave, on their way there they see Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen running in their direction.

"Lan Zhan! Zewu Jun! Go back!" Wei Wuxian shout to the two, they look behind Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian to see the immortal monster chasing after them. All four run back to the cave to make us a plan.

"Did you two found the cave?" Nie Huaisang asked.

"I did. It can fit five to six people."

"Here is the plan, I will lure the immortal monster toward me. Everyone follow Jiang Cheng into the water. Those who can swim help those who can't, those who are not injured help those who are. Take your time, don't push, got it?"

"Got it!"

"Then I will go lure the immortal monster toward me. A-Cheng once you are out make sure you send up our clan flare."

"I know be careful," Wei Wuxian nodded his head, he left from there.

"Everyone let's go!" They all walk out of the cave, they see Wei Wuxian luring the immortal monster to the fire on the ground.

The other went into the water beside Wei Wuxian. Su she decide to do one last thing before he went into the water. He pick up a bow and arrow, he want to shooter at the immortal monster but instead he was aiming at Wei Wuxian.

"Wei Ying!"

"Don't get in my way!" Wei Wuxian pull out the arrow from his arm and when he did the smell of blood got to the immortal monster nose, 'oh crap! The smell of blood attracted this monster.' The immortal monster went crazy, "Wei Ying watch out!" Lan Wangji went over to Wei Wuxian side and push him back.

He wasn't able to dodge it, the monster got his leg, "Lan Zhan!"

"Wangji!"

"Zewu Jun! You distract the immortal monster! I will try to get Lan Zhan out of it mouth!"

Lan Xichen did just that, "come on open up you stupid monster. I won't let you eat Lan Zhan!" He use all of his strength to open up the monster mouth to get Lan Wangji out. And when he did, Lan Wangji fall down toward the water. Wei Wuxian did the same.
