"Shh." Evie whispered as we walked into the parlour
"Okay." Mal and I nodded
" Evie? Evie! You came back!" Dizzy jumped into Evie's arms
"Hi!" Evie said happily
" Hey. So great to see you, too." Mal grumbled and I chuckled giving her a gentle shove
" Is it all just like we imagined? Do they really have closets you can walk into? Have you been to a real swimming pool? What does ice cream taste like?" Dizzy asked a hundred questions at once
"It's cold and it's sweet, and if you eat it too fast, it gives you a headache." Evie replied kindly
"Really?" The girl fawned
"Yeah." Evie smiled

" I saved your sketch book for you." Dizzy announced and ran off
"You did? Dizzy! Oh, my gosh. Wow." Evie sat down with her old sketch book
She opened a page to a dress

"I made this dress out of an old curtain and safety pins." Evie chuckled
"It reminds me of the dress you made for Mal when she met Jasmine." Dizzy said
"I spilled curry all over that." Mal chuckled
"You did." I laughed
"Yeah, I saw that." Dizzy nodded
" You're totally right, Dizzy. This was-- this was totally the inspiration for that." Evie nodded
"I knew it! You can take the girl out of the Isle, but you can't take the Isle out of the girl." Dizzy hugged her

I stepped to the side and began to gather the things we'd need while Dizzy and Evie designed quickly

"All right. Got it?" I asked handing over the last smoke bomb
"Yeah, I got it." Mal nodded
"Careful." Evie warned
"Perfect. That makes five smoke bombs." I said
"Okay. I think that's enough, right?" Mal asked
"Yeah." Evie nodded

"M, how amazing would this look with my shredded tee and my heart purse?" Evie asked lifting a heart jewel
"Very amazing." Mal nodded
"Take it. Take a bunch." Dizzy grabbed a load of accessories
"Oh, Dizzy! Oh, my gosh. Thank you." Evie told her and I couldn't help but smile softly at the kid
"It would make me so happy to know that you were wearing something of mine in Auradon. Almost like me being there myself." Dizzy said
"I really wish I could take you with me." Evie hugged her
"At least one of us had her dream come true, right?" Dizzy laughed
"Yeah." Evie nodded

"E, we got to go." I said from the flaps
"She's gonna be okay." Mal told her
"Yeah. But she could be so much more" Evie sighed
"Let's go" Mal said

As we walked back we had a wee story time
"That one was epic. That went on for actual days." Mal laughed
"Like it mattered, right? They were both undone by True Love's Kiss." Evie said
"Works every time." The three of us said
"I really thought that's what you and Ben had. Do you want to talk about it?" Evie asked
"Nah. I'm not coming back, Evie. I can't. I really tried to tell you." Mal said
"Yeah." I nodded in agreement
"But, I mean, I saw the way your face lit up when we walked through those dorm rooms for the first time. And I couldn't spoil that for you." Mal said
"If you're staying, I'm staying, too." Evie nodded her head
"No. Evie, you are an Auradon girl" I shook my head
"And I am... and will always be...  the girl from the Isle." Mal replied
