Eighth: Star Goddess

Cassiopeia watched the scene happening at the room of Alma Madrigal, she frowns as she remembered her life being a Glowing Star way back then and being sent at the land to save someone.

"That Amora girl isn't perfect for you!"

"Neither of us are perfect mamá, why are you acting one?!"

It's just the same with her situation back then, she loved a human yet they didn't died and that remains as a mystery to all of them. She even made as a Star Goddess.

Cassiopeia when she was a Glowing Star, she is very bright and beautiful like her neice Sephora. Her black hair always glowing, her dark brown eyes are always glistening.

She sighed as she watched Sephora on the other scene, who's completely worried. Cassiopeia and Sephora both know that she can't make a move until Mirabel reach her age.

The next day, Sephora is silently knitting a sock on her apartment when someone knocked at her door. She stand up and opened the door.

She saw Alma and Esmeralda standing before her, she smiled politely at them.

"Good morning Señora Alma and Señora Esmeralda!" she greeted politely, the two old woman didn't smiled. But entered her apartment, with a flick of her fingers all of her things were hidden.

"So, this is your apartment Amora?" asked Alma watching the girl who nodded at her.

"Yes, Señora." She politely answered, even though she can sense something bad will happen to her.

"Alma's right, you aren't perfect for her son." Esmeralda blurted out, Sephora's smile fall as she watched the two woman.

"I am sorry, but what do you mean Señora's?" she asked nervously, her blue starrish eyes examining Alma's looks.

"Stop pretending that you know nothing you silly girl! Stay away from my son Amora or else we are gonna kick you out here at Encanto!" said Alma threateningly, Sephora's eyes widened.

"Yes, we knew that you have a secret relationship with my son! Bruno doesn't need you, he's only playing with your feelings!" said Esmeralda, Sephora's heart clenched as she heard those words.

Of course they are lying, she thought. "He isn't playing my feelings." She stated bravely.

Alma smirked, "you really think high of yourself, huh? Do you really think that a girl like you will take seriously?"

Sephora didn't speak this time, but someone do behind her.

"Of course someone will take my neice seriously. And I am sure Bruno is taking her seriously, Señora Alma and Señora Esmeralda." Sephora looked and gasped when she saw her Tía / Star Goddes standing before them.

"And who are you?" asked Esmeralda, taken back at the beauty of Cassiopeia.

"I am Lorreign, and I can assure both of you that Amora is quite good for your son. Now, stay away from my neice." Said Cassiopeia as she glared at the two woman.

Sephora's heartbeat became fast, I'm gonna die, and my mission isn't even done yet. How about Bruno? She thought nervously.

With one last glare at Cassiopeia and Sephora, the two woman left Sephora's apartment. Cassiopeia sighed as she closed the door.

"Are you alright Sephora?" asked Cassiopeia, Sephora looked up at her.

"Y-yes..." she mumbled, obviously nervous meeting Cassiopeia again. Cassiopeia chuckled as she noticed her nervousness.

"Don't worry Sephora, you'll not gonna die. I have something to tell you," Cassiopeia stated, summoning chairs for them to sit. Sephora looked puzzled.

"What is it?" she asked, sitting on the chair. Cassiopeia smiled.

"Happy birthday Sephora." She greeted, Sephora frowns and looked at the calendar. Her eyes widened as she saw the date.

"It's my day, and I haven't remembered it!" she mumbled under her breath, Cassiopeia chuckled again.

"The real reason why I came here is to give you this," said Cassiopeia taking off her crown, Sephora looked puzzled.

"You're giving me the crown?" asked Sephora, Cassiopeia nodded.

"Yes, I have nothing to do with this because the curse has already lifted because of you Sephora." Cassiopeia smiled, "you are a half-human, and you just saved all stars from death."

"What? I don't understand?"

"They told me that we, stars were cursed by a human or a wizard because one of us love this wizard and left. Starting from that day, the stars are forbidden to love humans." Cassiopeia explained, Sephora nodded.

"But that doesn't explain why I am a half-human."

"Because your mother, Estella fall inlove with a human and she became pregnant to you." Said Cassiopeia, Sephora's eyes widened.

"But why she didn't affect by the curse?" asked Sephora.

"Because she is pregnant to you that time when she came back." Cassiopeia said smiling at Sephora.

"Now, Sephora I want you to be the next Star Goddess to reign the Universe. Even though you're here you can make it. And I have to leave because my husband is waiting for me." Cassiopeia said smiling warmly at Sephora.

"What do you mean husband?"

"You see, I fall inlove with a human too. And he is stills waiting for me to come back." Said Cassiopeia, Sephora gasped happily.

"So I am not the only one!" said Sephora giggling, Cassiopeia nodded.

"We are all free, no curse, no punishments. And that's all because of you, Sephora Star our Star Goddess." Said Cassiopeia, placing the crown at Sephora's head.

Sephora felt warm right after Cassiopeia put the crown on her head, brightness surround her as her features changed.

Sephora gasped when she felt her hair color changed, from black it turned to blonde. She could also feel powerful than ever.

Once her transformation done, she looked at the mirror. Her blonde hair now suited her pale skin. Her dress isn't white anymore it became shiny purple.

Cassiopeia smiled at Sephora, "happy birthday again Sephora." She whispered before disappearing.

"This is unexpected." Sephora whispered taking off the crown and putting it in the safe place that no one can see it.

She was about to continue her knitting when someone knocked, once she opened the door she saw Bruno holding a flower.
