As the sun rose and the alarm clock by M/N's bed rung,the sleeping eighteen-year-old woke up.His hair was messy and his clothes were barely ironed,he went off the bed and put his slippers on since he didn't care about what he looked like anyway.He took his bath before putting on his prepared clothes,he looked at the calendar hanging by his door and sighed "I guess it's goodbye now".He got his packed things before he walked out his room in a semi-formal outfit that comprised of an inner white shirt,matching black tuxedo jacket and dress pants,and a pair of black dress shoes to finish it off,he appeared down the hall with everyone had his eyes on him but he ignored them.He walked into the lobby and saw the director talking with a man in a suit,he tried to get past but he was caught and brought to a room that seemed to be noisy.He was urged to go in and did exactly as told,he clearly wasn't ready for what would happen next.

Once he went in,he saw thirteen men talking to each other and the anxiousness struck him like a strong wave.He froze and that was when they turned to him,he was lucky that the director came in to save him "On behalf of him,I'd like to introduce our longest stayer here - M/N!".Mingyu was slightly confused "He has no family name?",Wonwoo turned to him with a very disappointed expression on his face "Are you being serious right now?".Mingyu snapped back tp reality and went silent,Seungcheol cleared his throat to clear the awkward air "Well,we are pleased to meet you,M/N.On behalf of everyone,I'll do the introductions".After taking a sufficient fifteen minutes to introduce everyone,he took a breath "That's everyone,I think".M/N rubbed his neck "I apologize for this but I only knew about this thing now,I don't even know what I'm doing here".The director pat his back "They're here to adopt you,Mr. Choi and Mr. Yoon here was quite willing to finally give you your forever home",Jeonghan waved his hand as he laughed "Oh,please.We know each other well enough,Director Kim.There's no need for the formalities".M/N sighed "I know they probably have signed the paperwork and are ready,but I have a job interview at a law firm to go to.They can just picked me up from there,the name is Hansu Law Firm and is just by Gyeonngi-do",he casually walked out and the thirteen boys knew they had struck gold.

As they were leaving the orphanage after saying goodbye to the director,they were happily talking about M/N.Seungcheol held Jeonghan's hand "To think my husband and I are getting another gifted child,it's so heart-warming~",his husband smiled as he laid his head on his arm "Well,he's a talented lawyer after all~".On the other hand,Chan was scared of what would happen once M/N got back from his job interview.He sighed "I should have gotten his number so I could call him,he didn't tell us when he'd finish!",Seungkwan turned to him "Woah there,you haven't even got close to him and you're already worried?".Chan gave him a blunt stare "Hyung,you don't know what it feels like to be the second youngest and the older brother of some stranger so shut it",Minghao muffled his laugh as he whispered under his breath "Finally,some chaos after so much forced peace".The two looked away from each other while rolling their eyes,however,M/N's situation was much more different.

Whilst M/N was in the interviewing room,he spoke with confidence and professionalism.He waited for the slight chatter from the Board of Directors to stop and felt a wave of anxiety when it did,the Chairman of the law firm nodded as he smiled "Congratulations,you're hired.From what you have said,we will place you in the department of Criminal Felonies.You can start working next week as well".M/N thanked them before walking out the room with happiness in each of his steps.He remembered that the family adopting him were gonna pick him up and decided to wait by the nearby cafe so he could see them,he only knew that the car they'd use would be rather long and expensive since they were rich after all.

TIMESKIP

After an hour passed and he was close to falling asleep,he saw a limousine stop in front of the agency and knew it was them when he saw the pair of shoes that the person leaving the car wore.He went out the doors and walked to Mingyu "You guys took a bit of time to get here",Mingyu chuckled at the remark "Well,we did have to stop by our house to do something.Anyways,let's get in so we can head to the restaurant we're eating at for lunch".M/N nodded before he followed him into the vehicle,he sat at the seat right behind Jeonghan and was quickly looked at by Woozi "Yes,hyung?".The older grinned "So,how did it go?",the younger crossed his arm "You just met me and you're already asking about what happened at my job interview?".Woozi laughed "I'm just curious,that's all~",M/N took a deep breath "I got accepted and was placed in the Criminal Felonies Department,another thing to note is that I'm gonna start working next week".Seungcheol couldn't help but bear a proud smile "It's just day one that we have you and you've already achieved something so great,this calls for a special celebration!",M/N coughed "No alcohol though,I'm just eighteen".Hoshi couldn't help but let out a hysterical laugh,Woozi looked at him "You okay?".Hoshi waved his hand "Yeah,I'm fine.He just said something so funny to me,that's just the thing",M/N sighed as he was slowly finding out who would be his most annoying brother.On the other hand,Jeonghan was constantly glancing at M/N.He knew he just took in a gifted child and didn't want to make him feel like an outcast,he called some people that he knew and slowly formulated the grand party of the century to celebrate M/N's instant firing,he looked at him once again and caught him staring out the window.He turned away so he wouldn't be caught,he softly smiled as he looked at the road and thought : "M/N......welcome to the family,officially"
