**DeMar's Pov**
After dapping up Kyle I made my way to the door ready to get out of here and not be reminded of such a crappy night. As I proceeded to walk, I saw from the corner of my eye the same girl that was eyeing me in the arena. Shit if things had turned out differently tonight I would've asked her for a number but tonight wasn't that night. No matter how beautiful she is and I know I probably won't ever see her again it just wouldn't be right after such a devastating loss. I continued walking until I heard a soft voice behind me call my name. I turned around and saw the same girl.
"Excuse me Demar." She said as I looked at her. "Can I get your autograph?." I was in no mood to but I didn't want to be rude at the same time. I simply answered "not tonight, I'm sorry." I watched as her face frown slightly making me feel bad. I usually don't deny fans autographs and pictures but I felt like in this case she needed to understand. Like come on, she was there for Christ's sake.
"Oh, I-"
"Besides, you don't even have anything for me to sign." I said with no emotion.
She looked down at her feet, nervous, I could tell but I was ready to go.
"Uhm, you could sign my shoe!?" said the girl in front of me. I paused for a second in shock at what she had just said wanting to laugh but not allowing it to show. "Your shoe? Really?? I said as looked at her smooth brown skin and her glossy lips which she bit probably out of nervousness. "You don't even have a sharpie, look don't waste my time. I gotta go." I said a bit harsh already turning my back towards her ready to leave as I heard her say "Just because you lost don't take it out on me. You know what don't bother to sign my shoe!" I stopped, turned and looked at her restraining myself from cussing her out. "Who wears heels to a basketball game anyway?!" I spit out. She looked nice but I was just being petty because what she had just said stung me a little. She said nothing. I just shook my head and proceeded through the door to get out of this place.
**De'arra POV **
As I walked back over to my friends I was a bit sad but a bit taken aback as to how I was just spoken to. I knew it wasn't a right time to ask him for an autograph. I should've understood how he was feeling but I was just so starstruck.
"No luck?" Jenna asked.
"Nah, that's what I get I guess." I said still slightly sad.
"Girl what did you expect, now dry your tears and let's go get some drinks. It's your last night in Toronto. Let's turn up. I know this nice club where all the ballers be at." Chloé, the party animal said causing me to laugh.
"Yeah let's go, I wanna get drunk and forget this embarrassing night ever happened." I said smiling.
"You guys think wearing heels to a basketball was too much?" I asked.
"Girl you look cute, besides you already wearing it why you asking now?" Jenna retorted.
"Just checking." I said nervously.
"Girl forget about DeMar, we in Toronto one of us better bag Drake tonight." Chloe yelled.
"I KNOW THATS RIGHTTTTTT!!!!" We all said.
