LONG JOURNEY 📌 hongjoong x seonghwa

Chapter 29

A flashback encounter Hwa's mind. He know what Hongjoong desire the most and he is willing to be with him until the end of the journey. 

"I know Hwa, i just wish we could reach it faster." Hongjoong sighed. The reason to reach the Black Sea is to search for his long lost brother and to find the answer that he always want. The secret of the treasure, back then Hongjoong never want to be a pirate but he saw a little piece of secret left by his dad claiming that he saw something more until he's willing to abandon his family. 

Walking to his side, Hwa look at the map. He point at the nearest island not to far from the Black Sea "I think here, is okay. The Green Wave has a good reputation to spend the night. Many of the visitors said they take care of them and dare not to spread anyone whereabout. This could protect us to avoid any dangerous" Hwa explain. 

Hongjoong nod, give an approval to take some time and shelter themselves from the heavy rain. By the time they arrived, the sky is already dark, clashing with the sound of thunder and the water level began to rise. San throw the rope to the young man who seems to take care of people's ship. "Here, a token of gratitude. Even if my captain already paid you, you can use this coin to shelter yourself" San said as he drop the coin into the young man palm. 

They all walk deeper in the island, until they hear people chattering and buying things across the village. The village are full of merchants and royals, even if one's turn a blind eye they could sense what kind of people are they. Their fabric clothes are made from the top quality and sew by an experience tailor since they craft are rarely to be seen. 

"An inn with a good price! a good price! Young men out there, you can shelter from the rains and enjoy our accomodation at best!" speak an old man standing outside the inn. He wear a grey cloth with a colorful pattern for his pants, shouting in front of his inn trying to attract a customer. 

"I'll go and see whether they can fit us" Hwa said, leaving the three of them. San looks around and decide accompany Hongjoong while Yunho wander around. Not long after Hwa come giving a good answer saying they can stay there while waiting for the rain stop. 

"How much is this cost?" A young man ask, his eyes are small but his deep voice shows he's a man of manner.  He hold a silver flute, after trying it the sound are well produce making him want to buy it.

"35 gold coins" the old man said. He notice that this young man seems innocent, judging by his clothes he must be quite wealth, so he took this chance to bring some fortune for him today.

"35? Did you sold a silver flute from the sky? Be reasonable!"

Shocked by the voice, the young man look at the man who walk towards him. The man wear a white and a black belt around his body, looking like a sailor attire. 

"This is my bussiness with this young man, why are you interfering? Young man, if you want i sold 35 gold coins but if you do not agree you can put it back!" he shout. 

Almost caught in argument, he reach for 35 gold coins and give the old man. Taking the flute away, Yunho was lost in his words. 

"Did he just paid 35 gold coins of the old flute?"

He walk to the young man and said "My name is Yunho, what yours?" he took a glance towards Yunho and walk to the restaurant not far from him. "Its Mingi." 

"Well well Mingi, why are you so willing to agree with the merchant? Its totally a scam, cant you see?"

"The old man need to take of his grand daughter who is blind, i came across to him and notice he had a small shop so i went to see something i can buy. The flute is not the problem, i just want to help him" Mingi explain. Not long after he reach the restaurant and pardon Yunho as he need to take his leave. Yunho was dumbfounded by his answer and walk back to the inn that they decide to stay. 

"Had a nice walk Yunho?" San said. Yunho just smile and start to drink the water while staring at the clouds.

"Judging by the clouds, it should stop 2 days later. In this meantime, let's avoid any fight. I notice the logo from the Red Fork, they must be collecting taxes among the merchants but still be careful" Hwa said. 

The next morning, Yunho wake up first. He headed to the town to search for a breakfast, he walk casually admiring the people buying things  and sometimes he stop from shop to shop to see something that might caught his attention. His attention caught when he notice a group of men start a fight, he look what happened and it was Mingi who already bleed his shoulder trying to catch his breathe.
