It was impossible to accept this fact, but if someone suddenly tell a different story from the books, everyone will be a little confused. Hwa know there's only two version that existed, one only can be read by people in castle and the other version is probably the palace, given by Mingi's reaction he must know something. Jongho took a quick glace on everyone, right now he was in terrible situation, if he carelessly make a move he would died in instant.
"What do you mean?" Jongho ask.
"When you injured because of the wolf, Mingi come quickly to stop your bleeding however he give a confuse look after he observe the situation. I also notice if you broke your ankle, you would have difficulty to walk but the wound seems to recover by itself" Hwa explain.
"Haha, that's a good point."
Of course, Jongho know his own body. He almost forget that he get hurt and accidently let his guard down when Yeosang tell the story, he never thought someone being alert and watch him instead.
"Now you tell the truth" Hwa said in a firm tone. Jongho touch the tip point of Hwa's sword and his finger shows a sign of blood.
"There's no point in killing me, i cant die by this sword" he said.
"Well im just a descendent of sirens. I was left by my mother when i was an infant, some young couple found and raise me. Your grand-grand father is not the only one who fall in love with a siren, and im not the only one who was born." Jongho said.
"When i was young, i notice my ability is much stronger than other human. I spent entire years about myself and found out about my origins. That's the reasons why im here." He explained. The other party not showing any sight of relieve, when they saw unfamiliar situation in front them it not weird not too feel danger.
"So you want to find the other sirens??" Wooyoung ask, he walk out of the cave leaning against the stone.
"Its not just the sirens, i also want to clear their name. I told you, im not the only one. This can be prove that we are not a dangerous thing!"
Bang!
The sound of the sudden storm make all of them silence. In the cave, only the fire crackling can be heard. Everyone raise their guard.
"What?" Mingi ask.
"Listen." San said, because of his special ablities his hearing is more sharp than other people. "Someone is enchanting.." He carefully walk to Yeosang's direction, his eyes divert in the dark trying to analyze the situation.
"Shit!" His pupil shrink. Aware of the situation, Seonghwa pull out his sword and run towards Yeosang but it was too sudden, the whole cave were light up with a strong light.
"Yeosang!" Wooyoung shout, he run as fast as he can to save Yeosang but none of his piece left, he dissapear through the air. Everyone was shock, causing an uproar in the cave.
"The hell is that? Where's Yeosang?!" Wooyoung shout, he clenched San and ask for his explaination. Wooyoung run towards the deep cave, but there's not even any pathways. He run his hand through his hair, frustrated.
"Wooyoung, calm down" Hongjoong ask. In this situation, Hongjoong try his best not raise any tension between all of them. The sudden attack can't be taken lightly or else he might danger his own crews, leaving him much difficulity to find the treasure.
"San, what did u see?" Seonghwa ask.
"I dont see it clearly, only .. saying the same lines repeatly. Thats why i said it's enchanting something" Slowly hearing his explaination, everyone try to think more clues.
"Is there any line you can heard?" Mingi said.
"in this dream, i can offer you a dream, a reality, a feeling like an echo of ocean where you can never give up "
As San tell the lines, Mingi look straight into San. Seeing his reaction, Wooyoung strike his step towards Mingi but Yunho stop him, standing in front of Mingi blocking the threat.
"You better said it!" he shout, pointing his gun to Mingi.
"You better make some space on your brain. Can't you see we all trying to help you even though its none of our business?" Yunho speak. "Do you think we can lose more people? It's the who know what creature are we dealing at, this is Black Sea. Mingi came from the noble, he know more sources. If you kill him right now, do you think you can save Yeosang with your brain?!" he explained.
"Shit!" Wooyoung cursed. He know his at devastating point if he make unecesary move. After all, what Yunho said make sense. Mingi did know a lot more because he come from the nobles.
"This line.. its from the book called Desire in Clouds written by one of the Emperor's physicians. Back then, the Emperor was heavyly sick causing an uproar in the kingdom. They unidentified it as unknown diesese but some of people said it was a curse from the people itself since the emperor was merciless, slaughtered thousands of poor people for its selfishness." Mingi explained.
"The Emperor's wife made a decree offering if anyone can help in curing the diesese they will be given a sastifying rewards, and so many physicians come but none of them know the source until there's this priest man claiming that he can help, the palace can't help losing any chance so they also let him try. Well, he did find the causes" he continued.
"He told the sickness indeed is a curse, making the Emperor dreaming in his own desire but also in his own fear so he chant some spell to protect the Emperor. The chantment is really pure, other said the words only can be recite if you had no evil intention in your life. Thus, the black magic were gone."
"So you're saying Yeosang was capture by the priest?" Jongho ask.
"No, the line San's said is the curse.. so it means its the black magic person but i don't get it why the person choose Yeosang?" Mingi raised a question. Its true, the black magic were casted because of the Emperor was merciless, but Yeosang was not.
"Because Yeosang is pure" Wooyoung suddenly break the silence.
"The birthmark beside his eyes, is known for kisses from angel. In centuries, there's no one who had that mark but Yeosang is special. His mom told us that when he was born, it was pouring hard and his mother had complication delivering the baby. Right after it, Yeosang was barely alive, but his mother pleaded by the god or angel or any creature that hear her wishes to save her baby. There's a man who coincidentally past through her house and save Yeosang only by giving him a kiss, right beside his eyes." Wooyoung explained. At first, he only thought it was a joke to ease Yeosang but now he cant help but to believe.
"Do you know where we can find the priest? Is he still alive?" Seonghwa ask.
"He still alive. He live here." Hongjoong said.
