Yunho and Mingi also came out from their hidden place, standing behind their captain. The silence fill all of them. "Shit!" Wooyoung cursed, running towards the other two men laying down next to each other. He shake their shoulder until both of them wake up.
"Yeosang, are you okay?" The man look at him. His hair covering his eyes but can be clearly seen he's more whiter than all of them. Yeosang just nodded, brushing off his clothes from the dust. "How? the wolf?" his body tense, looking all around him but he only see four guys staring at him.
"The guy over there killed it, can you stand?" he hold Yeosang shoulder, giving him support. "So, you come with this guy and so who's the other one?" San asked pointing to him. He feel their situation is weird since Wooyoung did not paid attention to the other man.
"My name is Jongho, im not with them. We met on the halfway, the wolf chase both of them and of course i also need to run" He explained, his leg covered in blood. Mingi saw it and rip the end of his clothes and tie to Jongho's ankle.
"We should take a cover somewhere, it's getting dark. More dangerous can be counter if we didnt hide. We found a cave but if three of you want to rest you probably stop the idea to attack us since we are more in favor condition than you" Hwa said in a cold tone, he then walk to the cave that he found with Hongjoong. The sun is setting down, the birds start to fly back to their next.
The fire crackled at the end of the cave, warming all of them. They sitting in the circles, waiting for the food to cook. Yunho and San haunt down a few birds that enough for 8 of them, sprinkling a few of salt that he manage to buy from the town Yunho feel satisfied by the flavor and smells.
"Where do you come from?" San ask Wooyoung while giving a portion of the bird to him. "Yeosang and me are from Coral Stone." Mingi drop his bird and stare at them.
"Coral Stone?!" he said. Wooyoung almost let out a laugh however his face is cold as ever. "How about this, i tell you what brings me here and you can tell yours. Expecially you. " he said looking at Jongho.
"Deal"
"We come to find our missing corals" he said, ignoring those eyes on him. At the same time he continue chewing his food. Yeosang cant help but to cover his eyes from this embrassing moments. Coral Stone is famous for its rare corals, but they already have so many types. How come losing one of them make they come to Black Sea just to find a missing corals. As Yeosang watched the secene he cant help but explained it in more detail way.
"The corals is not just something casual, you must be wondered why we both come all the way from our home. Well, the coral's that missing belongs to the Siren." Yeosang said, Mingi was curious as well, he read about The Siren when he was young, it was a legend story that happen between human man and siren woman falling in love, causing a chaos to the world.
"The siren, fall in love with the human man however the gods seems not agreed by their actions. Both of them was banish by the king, but the coral is the only way to communicate between themselves. Our ancestor had the permission to secure the coral to avoid people casually communicate with the sirens, but 2 days ago it went missing." Yeosang explained.
"How did you know it went missing in the Black Sea?" San ask.
"Because the sirens live here" Wooyoung answered. Unable to resist, Hongjoong let a small chuckled. He sharpen his small knife and look at Wooyoung. As he laughed, he extended his palm exposing a strands of hair that rested upon him.
"What he said is true. This hair belongs to the wolf, i cut it off a bit because it was damp yet there's no sign of water. I ask Hwa about this matter and he said, it might belong to the blue layer supressing the world of sirens." Hongjoong said.
"Blue layer?" Jongho ask. "I once read a book about The Sirens, it says they can only live in a special kind of water from them to breathe." Hwa replied.
"Perhaps, what all of you know are only based on the books. This case are directly from our grand-grand father, we've been told about this history since we were young. The wolf that we encountered might be the guardian of sirens since its size are mythically big. Even our bullet are hard to pierce into its skin." Wooyoung said. He stare into the fire and lost in his thought. The coral play a big role in his village, if not about the corals some sirens who had hold grudge will casully raid their village, seeking revenge.
"If they obtain the coral, what are going to do?" Yunho ask. "Logically thinking, they just want to seek revenge to human." Yeosang said.
"That's bullshit" Jongho replied. Wooyoung look at him in confusing gaze. This man literally had an audacity to raise doubt between them..
"The Sirens never seek revenge. They already strong enough to kill the whole village years ago, they dont need to wait until now. The coral went missing must because of the greed people trying to make a threat with the sirens, everyone know they only want to live in a peaceful life. The Black Sea already done its job to protect them, but now? Humans only think about themselves." Jongho took a cool stare at Wooyoung.
"What the hell? Do you think im lying!" Wooyoung raised his voice, he originally want to seek help from the other side since he's willing to tell the truth however this person in front of him trying to cut the ties even before he plan anything yet.
Aware of the strange situation, Hwa abruptly unsheathe his sword pointing at Jongho's neck.
"You're a siren." Hwa said.
