Fay was inside the tree den, watching Drizzle craft up some herb recipe of the sort; Fay watched as Spark helped him plant, water, and care for the plants.
However, Fay waited for her to finish, flexing her claws with every heartbeat; She was desperate to tell her the exciting news; she was mates with Camilo!
Oh, she could see it now; she and Camilo would have a son.
Ah, and we'd name him Midnight!
Then we'd grow old and watch Midnight have kids of his own; Three Eevees, minnow, sliver, and sunny; His wife would be the most beautiful in the world!
Her fantasy was interrupted by Spark's awkward chuckle, "Fay, you there?" She blinked back into reality, confused as ever.
"I'm glad to have you back, Fay; you looked like you were on a different planet; Is everything alright?" Spark mewed, half-jokingly.
Fay felt her fur grow hot with embarrassment.
"Just kidding." The Leafeon padded closer, out of ear-shot of Drizzle. Spark then led Fay out of the den.
"So, what did you want to tell me?" She sat down, watching Fay with eyes full of curiosity.
"Well..." Fay began, glancing at the sky as she tried to recall her memories. "Camilo is my mate now!" She leaned over, almost shouting.
"Ouch." Spark hissed, drawing back.
"Aren't you happy? What happened?" Fay watched as Spark itched her ear.
"Of course, I'm happy, Fay. But there's no need to rasp so loud in my ears!" Spark exclaimed teasingly.
"Oh, sorry." Fay shifted her paws, slightly ashamed. "But I can't believe it!" The Sylveon added, "I've dreamed of this for a while, Spark! He finally knows how I feel!"
"Fay, everybody knew how you felt about Camilo. It was obvious." The Leafeon purred in amusement.
"W-really?" Fay mewed back in surprise. Shame washed over her. She never thought it would be obvious! She cringed at the thought.
How embarrassing!
"Hey, girls."
The two female Pokemon jerked their heads towards the sound. Camilo was looking bolder and more smugger than ever. Fay released a purr of admiration. She loved how courageous and confident he was.
"Oh, hey Camilo." Spark greeted in a friendly matter.
"Hi, Camilo!" Fay greeted, her eyes glimmering with affection.
"Why, you look handsome today!" Spark mewed, glancing at the Umbreon up and down. "You groomed your fur sleek for once! You going somewhere?"
"Thank you, Spark, and yes," Camilo said, mimicking a fancy-like tone. "I was gonna go on a date with m'lady." Camilo bowed at Fay's paws.
The Sylveon awkwardly lifted a paw, flustered at his advance. She glanced helplessly at Spark, who gave her an amused grin. So she decided to play along.
"I accept the proposal." Fay said, lifting her head.
Tamao lifted his head, chuckling.
"That's no way to treat your majesty!" Spark added, teasing the shiny Umbreon.
"Yeah yeah, whatever," Camilo grunted, glancing back at Fay, "So, in all seriousness, wanna come?"
"Sure!" Fay said quickly.
"Alright, let's go then." Camilo urged, trotting towards the tunnel as Fay hesitated, Spark nudged her forward.
"T-thank you." Fay hurried after Camilo, sliding through the thorn tunnel. She was careful not to let any thorns poke through her white fur. Camilo had halted to let her catch up to him, and she was grateful.
Camilo sniffed the air, his eyes wide, "Looks like I found us lunch." he purred, crouching. Fay watched him, her eyes glimmering with curiosity as Tamao began to stalk.
HISS!
mmMRROW!
Both Fay and Camilo jumped at the distressed sounds. Someone was in trouble.
"What was that?" Fay exclaimed, surprised. She glanced around, trying to spot where the sound was.
"I don't know, but it's coming from over there," Camilo grunted, jumping over a dead log.
The growling and screeching were even louder now. An Espeon and Liepard were fighting. The hisses and yowling were coming from the Espeon.
"I'll kill you, Nora!" Snarled the Liepard, the feline had a missing eye, torn ears, and a crooked tail.
"H-Hah! Let's see about that, One-eye!" Nora spat back. She was the most beautiful thing Fay had ever seen. But her ruffled clawed-up fur gave a bit of distaste to it.
The Liepard then pinned Nora to the earth, lifting a paw in the air to kill her.
"NO!" Yowled Camilo, ramming into the feline with outstretched claws. The two tumbled in a ball of fury, Nora watched in shock. Fay gasped quietly, frozen in place. She wanted to help fight, but she was so scared.
Camilo was drawing up a Shadow ball. He threw it at One-eye, and a large cloud of smoke shadowed One-eye. Camilo stood for a moment, surprised at his easy victory.
Suddenly Camilo was punted to the ground, claws slashing through his black fur. One-eye had somehow dodged the attack, her eyes blistering with malice and anger as she slashed through him.
At this point, Fay couldn't stay aside any longer; she had to save him! The Sylveon leaped at One-eye, causing her to let out a surprised hiss.
Burning heat arose in Sylveon's throat, so she released scorching fire. One-eye screamed in agony, kicking Fay away.
"There's more of you?!" One-eye rasped, coughing.
"Fay?"
The Sylveon whipped her head to see Drizzle, Snaggletooth, and Spark. Their gazes are bewildered. However, once they had spotted the bloody Liepard, their stances arched defensively.
It was enough to intimidate the Liepard, who gave a defeated snarl. She whipped around to face Nora, "This isn't the last of me, you little brat! You'll pay for this!" After that, she fled.
"Let's see about that, you old rag! Hahaha!" Nora yowled in victory, standing up on all four paws. Only to stumble
However, Fay rushed to Camilo's side. He was breathing in a raspy sense. He glanced at his friends weakly before collapsing back to the ground.
"Oh my GOODNESS! What HAPPENED here?" Spark exclaimed, her eyes wide with worry,
"That doesn't matter now." Camilo rasped, "Get the Espeon to the Tree-den..I'll linger..I'll catch up." he groaned.
"A million times no!' Fay Interrupted, her voice cracking with worry. "We can't leave you to die. I'll carry you and the Espeon back if I have to!"
Spark pressed against Fay comfortingly, "Don't worry, we'll carry them both back home." The Sylveon was grateful for her friend's comfort. She blinked fondly, forcing a smile.
Snaggletooth dragged Camilo by the scruff like a tiny Eevee, while Drizzle carried Nora on his back.
Oh Arceus, let him be okay.....
