   Hope really was a terrible thing. Until now, it was hope that kept her alive. The hope that they will be saved and that they will escape from this hell. All of them. Together. But now, as I-sak tries to convince the others that there is nothing wrong with her, Nari felt her hope go out little by little.

Su-hyeok and Ryung were missing. It is not even known if they are still alive and have not somehow become  zombies. They have already lost some of their classmates. And now I-sak... Nari prayed that no one else would follow.

I-sak positioned herself in front of Nari, "I'm okay, Nari. Right?" The girl could say nothing but look at her, and feeling tears gathering in her eyes. Nari quickly clutched her in her arms, I-sak then going near On-jo.

"What are you guys doing? Get her out of here!" Na-yeon started screaming seeing that no one was moving out of place. "Get her out now!"

Already several zombies had appeared at the window, knocking with their hands in the windows. They won't be able to stay in the same place for too long.  "Shit. They're going to climb over."

I-sak shook her head, still holding on-jo with her hands. "No. I'm fine!"

No one said anything. Nari didn't know what to do or what to say. She didn't think she would ever find herself in this situation. She wanted to deny with all her being that I-sak would become one of the... zombies. She could feel her brother pulling on her jacket and On-jo's, pulling them both away from I-sak. She wanted to yell at him, to tell him that I-sak was okay and didn't pose a danger to them, but she couldn't. Feeling overwhelmed, Nari sat in the chair, On-jo standing next to Cheong-san.

 "On-jo..." I-sak tried to come towards her, but fell to the ground. She began to transform, On-jo crying for Cheong-san to let her go. She had to help her. Maybe she still had a chance.

"Hurry! Do something! Throw her out the window!" Na-yeon yelled at her classmates who watched in horror at the scene in front of them.

Nari was trying to calm down, with tears still streaming down her face. "If you do not shut up, you will be the one thrown out the window!"

 Na-yeon turned nervously towards her, "Excuse me for not wanting to become a monster myself!"

A monster... The girl knew that Na-yeon was right to feel terrified. She knew it was normal for everyone to feel terrified. But... I-sak was one of her friends.

I-sak who now jumped to the attack on On-jo, being stopped by Cheong-san who hit her with a chair.

"Cheong-san!" On-jo screams, I-sak turning her attention to her. Before she could do anything, Cheong-san collided into her, the girl being thrown out the window, On-jo grabbing her by the hand. She couldn't let it go.
