She didn't know why it was such a surprise to everyone that Na-yeon didn't apologize, but rather offended Gyeong-su again. Nari was convinced that Na-yeon would rather befriend zombies than do such a thing. People like her don't change so easily and quickly. Nari thought that if Na-yeon really apologized, Gyeong-su would forgive her. That's just the way he was. Too good for this world. The girl stopped beside On-jo listening to Ms. Park scold Na-yeon again. Honestly Nari thought it was just a waste of time. Every time Ms. Park tried to get Na-yeon back on track, something like this happened. She couldn't believe she was blaming Gyeong-su for what happened to Coach Kang. Nari felt a headache coming on.Na-yeon scoffed, "You're all so annoying. What if I'm right about this? Then will you finally admit I saved you all, huh?"
Cheong-san exchanged a look with his sister before saying, "I don't understand. How can you still be like this?"
This time, it was Nari who replied, "Don't worry, brother," then glanced at Na-yeon. "That's the way she is. Not even a zombie apocalypse can change her."
Instead of answering them, a smile formed on Na-yeon's face. Nari couldn't understand what could be so funny, but immediately the girl drew her attention to Gyeong-su. Everyone else in the room turned to him, noticing the blood dripping from his nose. Fuck.
Noticing all the attention on him, Gyeong-su looked at each of them in confusion, but then noticed Cheong-san's gaze. Running his hand over his nose, Gyeong-su stopped. Blood. It was his own blood pouring from his nose. Nari felt her heart break for him. She could see how he was trembling and all she wanted was to go to him, hold him and tell him that this wasn't happening and that it was all a bad dream. But Ryung was the one holding her arm as if he knew what thoughts were going through her head. The rest of her colleagues quickly moved away from him, Cheong-san being the only one who remained still. Nari pulled her arm out of Ryung's grasp. If she thought her brother was going to be in danger, Nari wanted to be by his side to help him.
Gyeong-su's words were like a blow to Cheong-san's heart, but also Nari's, "Cheong-san, what do I do?"
"No,no...This doesn't make any sense. Why would you..." And it was true. Geyong-su was fine. He was very well. And suddenly it came to this. It doesn't make any sense. This shouldn't have happened. Cheong-san felt On-jo tugging at his shirt sleeve, but his attention was on his best friend, so he pushed her back.
"Stay away! Don't come any closer!"
It was a sad moment knowing that everyone had come to the realization that they had lost another friend. Especially Gyeong-su. With tears streaming down her cheeks, Nari stopped by her brother, placing her hand slowly on his shoulder. Noticing it was his sister, Cheong-san made no move to push her away. If only it had been easy to ignore Na-yeon's screams to get away from Gyeong-su.
