Eventually, everything went back to normal except for one thing

Jennie, keeps on repeating on my head

It's been a month since I last saw her, a month when I left her penthouse. A month without any sort of communication

I also stopped checking on the news, to avoid myself getting distracted every time I hear her name.

To avoid re-opening the scars that have been created not so long ago

"You have an interview today?" Rosé asked me as we were

sitting on the sofa watching some series on Netflix

"Where?" she asked

"Ruby Company" I replied as the company brings unwanted memories

"The company that's owned by the speaker on our graduation?"

"Yeah, that company" I replied

"Wow, big time" Rose joked and I just gave her a small smile

Today is the opening of our company for new employees

I'm waiting for Y/n, even I pushed her away last month cannot help myself but to wonder around what she's doing. is she fine or if she think about me too

"Will you be the one to interview the new applicants" Jisoo asked me

"No" it's not because I don't want to see Y/n, believe me i do want to see her so much, maybe too much even

But I'm trying to save the both of us, when Y/n is around it's like I'm not myself.

I just want to throw everything out and just be with her

But the sad truth is that, I can't

"Okay, I'll have Nancy do the job" Jisoo informed me

"Sure"

And there she is, standing in all her glory walking towards the entrance

Why is she wearing those clothes? I'm doubting myself as the CEO with her around

I'm drooling

After contemplating whether I'll go down and have a sneak with her

I'm finally here at the 2nd floor where the interview will be held

"Y/n Y/l/n" one of my employee called her name as she stood up and went inside

I let out a deep breath, I scanned the area and I noticed that she was the last on the line

Did the interview really lasted that short? Or there were just few applicants?

The exact time I entered the room for the interview, I was already aware that this girl that would ask me questions was interested in me

"Goodmorning Ms. Y/n, take a seat" she said

"Goodmorning too Ms?" I dragged the word miss for her to say her name

"Nancy" she said

"Ms. Nancy" I greeted as I took my seat in front of her

The interview went on easy, it was mainly about why do l deserve the position and things about what I know about the company

"Thank you Ms. Y/n" she said as I stood up and offered a hand shake as she gladly took it

"Thank you for having me Ms. Nancy" I said, as soon as those words escaped my mouth she suddenly removed her blazer

"You can call me Nancy now. The interview is over" she said

Is this girl seriously trying to seduce me right now?

Does interview really take this long? I was about to quit my spying when I heard the glass door being pulled

I saw a glimpse of Nancy, and why is she just wearing a tank top inside the office?

"Later then?" she asked and I wonder if it was Y/n she was talking to

"Sure" and that was my confirmation

And why does she agreeing to a 'something' with someone pulls up a bitter emotion with me?

I walked out of the scene

Nancy entered my room somewhere around late in the. afternoon

"Come in" i said as I heard a knock

"Goodafternoon Ma'am"

"Do you have anything that you need?" I asked her in my cold voice

"I'm here to report the interview that happened earlier ma'am" she said

"Okay" I replied as shis hand me a long white folder

I opened the folder and the first applicant was Y/n, of course

it's Y/n afterall

"Y/n Y/l/n" I mentioned casually

"She's the best for the position in my opinion Ma'am" she replied

"How did you say so?" I asked her

"She was the only applicant that was able to answer all the question and she didn't even stutter" of course that's my Y/n

"I'll look into it then" I said as I closed the folder

"Ma'am?" she called out

"What?"

"Could I leave early for today?" she asked fooking on the floor, maybe she was scared is she telling me this so she could prepare something nice for my Y/n

I sighed "Okay"

"Thank you Ma'am" she bowed and went out

Nancy didn't know that I followed her, well nobody knew that I followed her even Jisoo was in front of her house and I saw her went out

She was wearing a casual dress and from the looks of it she's going to go out for a date

A date with Y/n? My heart beats with pain with the thought of it

But do I have any valid reason to be feeling hurt in this way? I think none

I pushed her away right. Stupid

She started her car and followed it

She entered a restaurant and when I scanned the place I saw Y/n, all dressed up and nice

She saw Nancy, smiled as she stood up and pulled a chair for her, my heart aches with the scene

Does it have to hurt this way? I'm fucking jealous

Why do I feel like this?

I saw them order food, I saw them started talking, I saw them laughing and I cannot help but just to feel envious

Could just be Nancy instead? I didn't noticed that my eyes started to water and in the middle of stalking Y/n

Why? Why do I hurt seeing someone that I pushed away to be happy with someone that isn't me.
