For the past several weeks Mackenzie's plate has been full. After Jungkook received his Military Service package in the mail, the two have been working their asses off to make Christmas as memorable for them as possible. Spending time with the twins as much as possible, working a couple hours extra to make sure they can buy the presents everyone wants- all while their kitchen was being remodeled and just in time, it was ready.

It was December 23rd, two days before Christmas and Mackenzie, Jungkook, and the twins were baking cookies and brownies. The whole family was laughing and giggling. The group was coming over to open gifts. Yes, two days early, only because Jungkook wanted time to spend as much as he could with his family without a mess to clean up.

Mackenzie and Jungkook stood next to each other, Jia on Jungkook's right side standing on a step stool and Jaewoo on Mackenzie's left side also on a step stool as the two adults help the twins place the cookies on the baking sheet.

"Daddy, can we make sugar cookies? They're my favorite!" Jia bounced- her long black hair in a ponytail swaying from side to side, as she looked up at her dad placing cookie batter he made into a ball onto the sheet. Jungkook smiled as he was meticulously placing the batter on the sheet, making sure to keep a space all while trying to not mess up his perfect sphere cookie ball.

"We can if you want, princess. What about you, my prince? Any specific cookie you want to make?" Jungkook asked out loud. The whole penthouse smelled of apples and cinnamon, Mackenzie's favorite Christmastime scent. It could be April and if she smelt it, she was immediately reminded of Christmas.

Mackenzie looked down at her son who had some cookie dough on his face. She took her clean manicured hand and ran it through his black hair, his big doe eyes were lit up from eating some of the cookie dough.

"Oatmeal raisin and Snickerdoodles?" Jaewoo said in a questioning tone and a muffle. His small mouth full of the cookie dough that they made had his small lips in a pout, a dead on copy of Jungkook. Mackenzie and Jungkook made sure to find a recipe safe for children to eat the raw cookie dough.

"You want both? Woah there little man, are you sure you can handle that much?" Jungkook teased his five year old son.

Jaewoo looked behind his mom to his dad with doe eyes, "I'm a big boy, I can do it! Just like you daddy!" Jaewoo beamed, Jungkook matching his son and the two sharing the same bunny smile.

"If he gets two, I want two. That's not fair!" Jia whined, stomping her foot onto the stool.

"I'm older!" Jaewoo bragged.

"By three minutes, four eyes!" Jia screamed.

"JEON JIA!" Jungkook shouted in disbelief. He hated when they called each other names, especially four eyes since Mackenzie wears glasses too and would get picked on when she was growing up and it would make her feel ugly.
