Replacement or just her Sister

After receiving a goodnight hug from her big brother, Kiyi made her way into her room

It technically was her mothers room, but since her mother was never inside her room except when its night to sleep, Kiyi liked to call it her room

Everyone at the palace was confused at first, but since Kiyi insisted on calling it her room and because nobody wanted to upset a little girl, they just started to call it her room

Spotting her mother on their bed, with a kind of worried expression, Kiyi saw no problem in just jumping on the bed as fast as possible, since everytime she was worried or sad, playing was the first thing that would distract her, so why shouldn't it work on her mom

When she jumped on the bed next to her mother, her mother's expression changed to one of relief. Kiyi got a little bit confused by it, because from her little experience, she would be more happy than relieved when someone would do something funny when she was worried or scared

"Oh Agni! I was so worried about you, Kiyi" Her mom said with a sigh of relief, as she pulled Kiyi into tight a hug

Even though she was happy that her mom wasn't so worried anymore, she didn't really like that her mother squeezed her so tight

"Mom, you're crushing me!" She complained wailing

"Oh, my apologies Kiyi, I was just a little bit scared" her mother said, loosening the grip on her youngest child

Having finally a moment to take in what her mother told her without getting crushed, Kiyi took a small breath before she spoke "Why were you worried about me mom? I won't get into trouble and Zuzu, his friends and all the guards are here to protect us" she asked

"Kiyi, I was scared to lose you, since there are many children that are being taken away from their parents here in the fire nation where we live" Her mother answered, hoping her child would just understand

"But mom, you don't need to worry, like I said, many people here will protect us"

"I know, I know, I'm just scared to lose another person that I love"

Kiyi then just slipped under the blanket of their bed "come on mom, we'll just go to sleep now and I'll still be with you tomorrow

When they closed their eyes, trying to sleep, Kiyi waited some time before she pretended to sleep. It took a few moments for her to feel her mother struggling to fall asleep, making hectic movements on the bed. Kiyi began to think that It will never stop, until after what felt like eternity, her mother's movements slowed down and eventually came to a hold

Luckily for Kiyi, feeling all this, made her really tired too, so it wasn't even long before she fell asleep as well

Painting something after training many hours almost became a routine for Azula, since creating the 'fake' Kemurikage. In the beginning, she wasn't really a fan of painting and only did it because the things she used to do after training: doing something with Mai or Ty Lee, going to the royal spa or her favorite activity, harassing servants or preferably her brother, were all things she couldn't do. So an option besides beginning to try something new and eventually becoming good at it and liking it wasn't there

Even though the painting in front of her was only black and white, since using colored ink to fill the painting with color was something she did at the end, she already really liked it, especially the 2 dragons in the centre

Having spent a few hours on it, she decided it was finally time to take a bath and then get into her makeshift bed to sleep

Making her way to their 'bathroom', she passed the room where the children were being held, hearing some kids yelling and complaining about something, giving it no attention she reached the bathroom, which shouldn't even deserved to be called on in her opinion
