The Madoka Magica fandom is kind of dead, so this is my fruitless attempt at reviving it with my horrible writing. Get ready for a hot mess of girl drama and witch-slaying, for I have almost no experience writing stories like this.

Episode/Chapter 8. Chances are, if you saw what happened in the anime, you'll know exactly what is going to happen. But first, the usual recap!
Once Sayaka recovers from the bridge incident, she realizes the truth about what Soul Gems really are, and she sees herself as a terrifying zombie-like creature. Homura and Madoka have another meet up on the school roof, in which Homura discusses Sayaka's situation. Madoka, of course, has a breakdown about it. What a crybaby. Sayaka, on the other hand, is contemplating her life choices when Kyoko arrives, wanting to talk. Once the three arrive inside a rundown church, Kyoko reveals her backstory towards both - her father was seen as a crazed wacko so she wished for people to listen to him. Unfortunately, Mr. Sakura found out about her powers and killed her family then himself. Sayaka just became an asshole and left. To make matters worse, Hitomi revealed her feelings for Kyosuke; Sayaka's love interest. Not expecting this at all, she develops a broken mental state - which was shown when she became a crazed bitch on Elsa Maria and was destroying her. Stirring up concern, Madoka yells out for her to stop.
And now, on with the chapter!
LABYRINTH OF THE SHADOW WITCH, (Y/n)'s POV
Sayaka, now letting her true colors show, went crazy bitch mode at Elsa Maria despite her overbearing injuries. She laughed about how she "can't feel any pain now," and it hurt seeing this. She raised her sword and continued shredding away at the Shadow Witch while laughing psychotically. Tree branches can be seen flowing out.
However, at a certain point, the damage was so substantial that the labyrinth began shattering and cracking, some small fragments falling. The big red pillar that Elsa Maria was praying towards had the stone beneath crumbling and falling slowly. Finally, she took a break from the brutal beating and spoke, blood marking parts of her body.
Sayaka: Once you know how to do it, it's quite simple. This way, I'm never going to lose.
The same music rings had appeared on the wounds on her body and fixed them up right away.
At last, the labyrinth had faded back to reality and we were returned to the construction site. Interestingly enough, Sayaka appeared...perfectly fine? It's a little hard to tell from this perspective. But what wasn't hard to tell was the Grief Seed that lay on the ground in front of Sayaka.

She lowered down and picked up the Grief Seed, to which she threw at Kyoko. She successfully caught it midair.
Sayaka: This is what you wanted, right?
Kyoko: Hey now...
Sayaka: I don't want to owe you anything. Now we're even, understood? Come on, let's go Madoka. You too (Y/n).
(Y/n): I'll catch up with you two later.
Sayaka floated into the air as if she was ascending, and she detransformed back into a student.
