5:15, for me it's the most effective time to wake up and have a successful day. Breakfast is also vital for optimal thinking and body performance. I got dressed and started down the hall. I peeked into my sister's room to see if she came home last night. You might think that I'm snooping, but in my opinion if you don't want people looking into your room, close and lock your door. Lock it because with twelve other people in the house, someone is bound to take something without asking. Second floor, I had to wrestle my way past my brother to the bathroom where I was met with a makeup crusted sink and clogged shower.

"Isaac! You clogged the shower, again." I called down the hall. How do you even clog a shower? By being too dirty? Thankfully unclogging things was one of the skills on my very wide pallet. You'd also pick up some skills if you lived in a house with twelve other people. Ater a quick shower I rushed down stairs so I could get a healthy breakfast, or a banana that wasn't brown and rotting. I was instead met with a wailing baby and my stressed out parents

"Good morning!"
"Good morning mom, dad." I said as I rushed past,
"Why are you in such a rush sweetie?" My dad asked me as I grab my backpack, a banana and rush towards the door
"Yeah, Bee school doesn't start for another hour." Mom added as she tried to shake off my twin little sisters who were clinging to her legs and giggling. "Lilac got tipped off thats gonna be a pop quiz today in math, we wanted to do some last minute studying before school"
"Ok, but be sure you're back in time to pick up Oliva and Issac" but I was already out the door. I rolled my eyes as I seated myself in one of the three cars in the driveway. A 2013 Lincon. Olivia and Issac would have no problem getting a ride with Diana anyway. It's not like they had to ride with me everyday. I texted Olivia to make sure she knew that.

It didn't feel good to lie to my parents, and I felt guilty for betraying their trust but what was I supposed to say, I lost a bet and now I have to try and summon a demon with an ouija board? Yeah, emergency studying sounded better.
As soon as I pulled up to the school I knew I was making a horrible decision. I texted the twins to let them know I was here then pulled my coat tighter around my body and leaned against the side of the car to observe the school. It was still dark outside because it was six o'clock on a winter morning. The school looked like a dark face and the windows looked like pitch black eyes. The trees surrounding the school cast gloomy shadows in the moonlight and the courtyard looked strange because it was so empty. Great, I thought, all I need now is some spooky ghost music and a narrator and this would be the perfect set for one of those horror movies my brothers love so much.

"Hey!"
"Over here!" I turn to see my friends Lily and Lilac waving to me from the building's side entrance. I jog over to come inside and evade the winter weather. Even inside the warm building I cant stop shaking when I think about whats to come, I know im stupid for doing this but I have no choice! A bets a bets and I don't want to be the one girl who goes back on her promises.
We were in a dark hall in the freshman academy. Despite my unese, Lily and Lilac seemed positively buzzed. Each of the twin girls take one of my hands and quickly guided me down the hallway. Though, dragged might have been a more accurate way to describe how we traveled down that terrifying hallway.

After only a minute we arrived at a door with "Maintenance" in blocky faded green letters. "Are you sure we won't like, curse the school or something." I blurted, losing my nerve a little as Lily reached for the handle. She paused and they both let go of my hands and turned towards me. "Look Bee," Lilac started, "you know this stuff probably isn't even real." " Yeah, there's only like a forty percent chance." Lily picked up the sentence "Yeah, so there's like no real reason to even be that worried."

I know that they were just trying to calm me down but it seriously unnerved me how they were both so in sync with the way they spoke, throwing around words and random statics that probably aren't even real. I furrowed my brow at them to show how little I believed them at that moment. Lilac seemed to notice my displeasure and she softened a little. "Y'know you don't actually have to do this" she said quietly. Lily seemed to realize she might not be witness to the paranormal today and seemed disappointed but she still said, "Yeah it's your choice y'know." with no malice and all concern for me.
