Yes, we all do this at least once in our life, but for some people it's a hard scene to write. Crying scenes can be a good part to the plot of your story, no matter what the story is about. Here are some things to think of when you struggle at writing crying scenes.

- What emotions is/are the person/people feeing?
- If it's more than one person in a scene, who's crying? Why? What are the others doing? Are they crying too?
- Describe how the person/people look(s) in the moment, is their face red? Are they shaking? Are they smiling? Ect.
- Are they trying to talk while crying? Is it hard for them to speak?
- If they are full on sobbing, try to make it last longer than a normal cry.
- Is it just a single tear falling from the persons face? Are they emotionless?
- What are/is the people/person thinking about while they're crying?
- Do they feel more than one emotion? Happy and sad, or betrayed and angry? Ect.
- Try to think of times when you've cried, what were those like? Try to transfer those memories into your scene, how you felt, what you did, what was on your mind, ect.

I truly hope these tips help you with times you struggle with crying scenes. They can be a tough scene to write about, but it can get easier if you write the scene enough. Once again, if my tips don't help, you do have the internet to use (Unless you can't use it). Farewell future writers!
