Cato
Clove and I are standing by the chariot waiting for the signal to go. I look around at the other tributes and see that none look very appealing. District 7 are trees, District 3 are power plant workers and then there is District 12. They are in all black and some weird make-up. Probably to represent coal. How boring. All the costumes are pretty lame. Except ours and District 1. Clove and I are in identical gold outfits. They have a feathered pattern chest plate and helmet. The only difference is that Clove has high heels and I look more like a gladiator where as she looks like a princess. When our stylists tell us that it's time, Clove and I get onto the chariot. We stand still and silent. We both have stone cold expressions on our faces. Even though I love her, I can't let it show. I must be strong and brave. District 1 goes out and a few seconds later we do the same. I see Clove waving a little. It's so cute. We hear people screaming and I think it is for us. Then I hear "KATNISS!! KATNISS!!". I turn around and see the District 12 tributes on fire! What the hell?! They can NOT out do us.
Clove
I turn to see what Cato was looking at and then I am filled with hate. District 12 is on fire! Literally! I hear the Capital citizens shouting Katniss' name. I hate her. Once President Snow does his boring speech we go back to the main hall. Cato and I glare at District 12. They clearly out did us and I hate them for it. Katniss sees us glaring and quickly looks away. She better watch her back. Cato and I get onto the elevator and are finally alone. "I hate District 12" Cato says to me.
"I know" I reply "we need to get rid of them". Cato nods and we step out of the elevator and go down the hall. Once we are outside of our rooms he Grabs me by the waste and kisses me. We stay like that for a good 5 minutes. When we break apart we say goodnight and I go into my room and fall asleep. I let myself drift off and dream about different ways that I'm going to kill Katniss.
