Jamie

I stared at the string of code I had just typed on the screen and didn't understand a thing about what I had just entered. The morning had gone surprisingly well, with no major problems concentrating, but after lunch my jitters had completely taken over and I could barely sit still in my chair. Tonight, I would be home alone as Ash and Simon were going on their date. The date I'd insisted they have first. At the time when I'd said it, it had seemed like the right thing to do and what I wanted, but now that it was approaching, my head wasn't with me anymore.

We had done nothing more than talk and play games that night at Simon's place. Well, if you didn't count how Ash and Simon seemed to be competing to see which of them got to sit with my legs in their lap, but when I won by a landslide against both of them in the racing game we played, I got to choose for myself. Then I put one leg in each of their laps and they finally seemed to settle. It had become like some sort of silent agreement that we wouldn't go any further than that, we'd all gotten pretty excited about the idea of going on a date and then it was like everyone wanted to wait, weirdly enough.

Over the week that passed, we had only messaged Simon and Ash had repeatedly asked if I was okay with everything, and I was almost getting annoyed about it. Sure, I still had lingering uncertainty about what had happened, but I had decided to try and get over it. And if I was going to get over it, I couldn't have them walking on eggshells every time we met. Because I wanted this. No matter how I twisted and turned it, I wanted to. The fact that it all started with one big fucking mistake on their part wasn't the best thing, but I wasn't going to let it be the end. But I couldn't pretend I wasn't nervous. Because I was.

When it was time to go home, I got a message from Ash to meet him downstairs in the entrance, in the restroom there. We hadn't seen each other all day as he had other work commitments during lunch, so I had to struggle not to just rush down the stairs. I wanted to show him that I was still okay, even though my mind was racing. When I opened the door to the restroom, he came towards me and immediately pulled me into his arms. I looked nervously at the stalls, but he just shook his head. He looked down at me with that impossibly blue gaze.

"Shit, I know I'm nagging, but it's only because I care about you," he murmured, stroking my cheek. "But are you still okay with this? You know I always choose you first. One word from you and I'll ditch this date, you understand?"

As soft as my mind became at his obvious concern for my well-being, something in me was a little disturbed by it. Maybe not at his thoughtfulness, but it was as if he didn't really dare to be himself after everything that had happened. As if he thought I'd break or something if he said anything remotely teasing. I wanted that confidence back in him. He was wonderful when he was soft, but he was totally irresistible when he was hard. In all senses of the word.

"Yes, I'm nervous, but I wanna do this," I said as firmly as I could. "I'm getting more nervous because you're so damn jumpy around me."

I gave him a trying smile and he brushed his palm over his eyes in frustration, suddenly grabbing my neck and pushing me up against the sink. I gasped in surprise and then relief. There he was again.

"Do you know how sexy you are when you're determined?" he purred as he pressed my hip harder against the sink. "I want you to wear the collar all night. So that you keep me in mind. So I can pull you out of bed with it when I get home, okay?"

I nodded breathlessly, as my cock began to press against the jeans cloth. God, I needed distraction tonight, that was the only thing that would help. Ash slid his hand down to my crotch, grinning teasingly as he sensed my arousal. Quickly he took my hand and pressed it against his crotch, over his own hardening cock.
