Chapter 3

"Are you really here?" Hunter asks when he pulls away. His hands touch all over my skin, trying to decipher if he was going crazy or not.

"Yes, I'm really here." I laugh, grabbing onto his roaming fingers.

"Thank god," He kisses me hard again. "You're never leaving me for that long ever again."

"I don't want to." I wrap my arms around his neck.

"I thought you weren't going to be back until Friday?"

"I lied. I wanted to surprise you."

"So how long have you been here?"

"I got here three days ago." I laugh as he frowns.

"You mean to tell me you made me suffer for three extra days?" He asks, pulling me close.

"Yup." I smirk.

"You're gonna pay for that, you know." He mumbles into my ear.

I hoped the punishment he was planning was the one I actually liked because he punishes me very well.

"But right now I'm way too happy to punish you." Hunter lifts me up from the ground and spins me around, causing me to squeal of surprise and laughter.

"Hunter, put me down!" I laugh. "People are watching."

"Who cares? I haven't seen you since July, I deserve this." He sets me down and kisses my forehead sweetly. His arm links around my waist, as Nick and Troy approach us.

"Hey Asia." The both say.

"Hey guys." I lean in to give them both hugs, but of course Nick has to be extra. He hugs me tight in a bear hug.

"Nick, you can let go now," I mutter against his chest.

"Nah." He squeezes me tighter and I yell of pain. I fight against his force, but I was much too weak compared to him.

"Can't...breathe..." I whisper.

"Nick, let her go before she passes out." Troy says, his brown eyes wide.

"Fine." Nick says and releases me.

I gasp for air and push him with enough force to make him stumble. "You and your girlfriend have a serious problem with suffocating people."

"What can I say? She's learned from the best." He smirks and tries to hug me again but I hide behind Hunter.

"How was New York?" Troy asks.

"It was really fun, actually. It felt good to be in my hometown."

"That's good. I want to visit someday."

"You should! We all should...together one day." I say.

"Sounds good to me." Nick shrugs. "I'm holding you to that."

"Please do." I laugh.

"Nick! Troy!" We hear someone yell. The four of us turn to see Patricia motioning for the two boys to come forward.

"Ugh, she probably wants us to go to the store for her...again!" Troy groans.

"Have fun with that." I tease, laughing at the two boys' faces.

Hunter and I watch as the boys walk over to Patricia and we both laugh at the faces they make when she tells them whatever she needed them to do.

"So, a lot of people showed up." I look up at Hunter.

"As always." He huffs.

"A lot of family?"

"Yeah."
