Hunter's POV
It was early Sunday afternoon when my phone kept ringing. I was sound asleep and didn't feel like getting up at all. I figured it was Nick probably asking to go to the gym but I was tired and didn't feel like going so I was purposely ignoring my phone. But the ringing never stopped. Once the one call ended, it would start ringing again. I groaned loudly and got up to get my phone. I answered it with my eyes still partially closed so I had no idea who was on the other end.
"Hello?" My voice sounded groggy.
"Finally you answered your goddamn phone!" I hear an annoyed female voice.
"Who is this?" I rub my eyes and my eyebrows furrow.
"It's Cheyenne."
"Oh." I blink several times. "Cheyenne why are you calling me like a maniac?"
"Why weren't you answering my calls?" She asks.
"I was sleeping. What's wrong?"
"Is Asia with you?"
"No. Why would she be with me?"
"Umm maybe because you're her boyfriend and picked her up from Matt's party last party."
"No I didn't."
"Kyle said that Asia texted him that you were picking her up from the party."
"No, I got a text from Asia telling me that her brother was picking her up and that she didn't need me to come get her last night." I shake my head.
"Are you lying?" Her voice sounds like she does not trust me at all.
"Why would I be lying?" I ask her.
"Maybe because you don't want anyone to know she's with you."
"Asia isn't with me. I can screenshot the conversation to prove it. She was texting me all night."
"So she's really not with you?"
"No." I answer. "What's going on?"
"Can you come to Asia's house? Right now?" Cheyenne asks.
"Yeah, I'm coming. But what's going on?"
"Asia never came home last night and she's not answering her phone. No one knows where she is."
"Okay, I'm on my way."
"Hurry." Cheyenne tells me before hanging up.
Asia never came home? How is that possible? She was texting me last night. She told me that Kyle picked her up and she was at home in her bed. She was talking to me about the party and then she told me goodnight because she was exhausted. So to say that she wasn't home was odd.
Asia wouldn't do something like that. She wouldn't lie to me like that and pretend to be at home. I hurried to get dressed and raced out of the house and to Asia's. I was hoping this was all a misunderstanding. I tried calling her cell twice but they went straight to voicemail. Maybe her phone was dead...
I arrived at Asia's house surprisingly at the same time as Cheyenne and Cora. Theresa answered the door quickly and you could see the worry all in her eyes.
"Hello." She tried her best to give the three of us the happiest smile she could manage and gave us each a hug.
"Hi, Mrs. Williams." We all say.
"Come in, it's cold out." She opens the door wider for us and we all go inside. She leads us to the family room, where Asia's father Darrell, Kyle, and surprisingly Ashley, were sitting. All of them looked distressed but Darrell also looked angry.
