Chapter 20

Cass's P.O.V

"So you gonna be ok for the day?" Alex asks smirking

"Yes i'll be fine god" i mumble

He laughs as we get into the school parking lot

"Breakfast was really good though thanks for taking me" i add

"Your welcome Cassie" he says chuckling

"Do you want to come here for the day though?" I ask

He gives me a look which i laugh

"Well i better get going though i'm still early" i say taking my seatbelt off

"You have a half hour to go and your gonna ditch me to sit in the halls and do nothing till the bell goes?" He asks

"What am i gonna do then?" I ask

He puts a smirk on his lips and leans in

"But people will see" i say whining

"Let them" he says smirking

We lean in and our lips move in sync when a rap on the window breaks us up

"You coming to class?" Dave asks

"I still have time" i say pointing to the clock on the dash

"Just making sure, hey Alex" Dave says

"Hey Dave just so you know we watched a horror movie last night so Cass may be jumpy" Alex says

I groan and elbow him

"Yeah Robert told me you left in the middle of the movie" Dave says smirking at me

"You guys won't live this down will you" i mumble

"Nope" they both reply

For the next ten minutes the three of us talk and then i start leaving

"So i'll see you after school?" I ask Alex

"Yeah i'll be picking up Andrew, may have Austin with me" he says

"Yay" i say smiling

Dave walks ahead a little so Alex and i can say bye

"I'll see you later" he says winking

I smile and peck his lips

"Bye" i say happily

I walk out of the car and catch up to Dave

"I'm with you today so if your scared tell me and i'll protect you" Dave says smirking

"I'm gonna get Austin to beat you up" i warn

"Oh please i'm not scared of him" Dave says chuckling

We walk in and girls of all ages stare at Dave and i shake my head

"You and AC had a early morning" Andrew says coming up beside me

"Yeah it was fun though" i say to him

"Cassie you didn't even tell me you were going out this morning" Natalie says coming up to me

"Sorry? It was unexpected" i say chuckling

"Well my day was good thanks for asking" Dave says

"How was your day Dave?" Some tenth grader asks

"Fine Shelby thanks" Dave says chuckling

Nat and i roll our eyes and we head to class

"English is gonna be boring" Nat groans

"Just do the work and you'll be fine" i say to her
