"Get down!" Shouted Five as he immediately pulled the three with him down, covering [Name] with his body and looking around. He tried to hold the three together and teleport them away, feeling his energy decrease but only able to teleport them to another part of the house.

The two adults immediately felt nauseous as the girl looked up in panic, trying to figure out what was happening. "Who's shooting at us?" She asked, terrified, as she looked at all three to make sure they didn't get injured.

"Cha-cha and Hazel," Five answered, pissed, looking at the three before continuing, "You three, just take cover, I'm gonna get rid of those two." He gritted, teleporting away.

"But he's just a kid!" Ruth said in panic.

"Don't worry, he knows what he's doing. Technically 38, too," the girl replied and pulled on the woman's sleeves when she noticed the woman's face morphing into confusion. "Where can we hide?"

"I have a gun in my room, you two go hide," Michael informed them as he crouched away from them while Ruth pulled [Name] towards another room.

They entered it, Ruth locking it behind her as she pulled the girl inside the wardrobe, opening the floor and showing a room that they immediately entered. It was big enough for a family of five. "We had this made after Athena left, in case something like this happens again." The word "again" wasn't left unnoticed, but decided not to ask as the continuous gunshot rang above them.

[Name] bit her thumbnail in anxiety, feeling useless as she stayed there and unable to do anything besides wait. She had really hoped her mother had taught her how to fight if she ever was an actual part of the Commission back in her day. She hated sitting duck, but also knowing that if she ever decided to do anything besides wait, she might trifle Five's plans and the two agents to use her as leverage against Five while he does his best to protect her. That wouldn't be ideal for any of them and would just be a distraction for Five instead of keeping his focus.

An idea popped in her head as she looked at the horror-stricken reaction of Ruth in front of her, popping up from her seat to get ready to leave the safespace.

"No, no, we're not going anywhere," Ruth immediately stopped her, shaking her head at the girl.

"Don't worry, just stay here, I've got a plan," she tried to reassure the woman who was still shaking her head.

"If I know anything about your mother, I know that she's very impulsive, so no, I am not letting you." The woman answered determinedly.

"And if you know my mom, then you'd also know that she's very stubborn," and immediately opened the hatch before the woman could grab hold of her, both then freezing as the sound of footsteps and gunshots came near.

[Name] basically stopped breathing as she waited for whoever it was to leave, knowing it can't be Five due to how heavy the footsteps seems to be nor Michael given that he'd probably know about this little hiding spot in their house.

But she was taken aback when the wardrobe door suddenly opened - not realizing this isn't a movie where the antagonist would get distracted by something else - and feeling her heart pick pace as she met the gaze of a wide-eyed Hazel before deciding to put all her strength to pushing the gun away from him. She ran with all her might away from the room, hoping he wouldn't notice the hatch, and went to another room that she vaguely noticed was an office.

She knew Hazel enough to know that he would feel bad and never try to hurt an "innocent" girl and would probably not tell about her on Cha-cha, but Cha-cha was a completely different story that she wishes to never encounter within her lifetime, if possible.

So the chances of meeting Cha-cha right after seeing Hazel went sky-high as she noticed the lady shooting at the room on her left, immediately noticing the girl's movement and pointing it towards her as [Name] hid back inside the office. She locked it and ran behind the desk for cover, the walls being shot at as she looked around, noticing the window but afraid she'd be hit if she stood up now.

She then heard a muffled curse and what she would think was Cha-cha not having any more bullets left. The girl made a split-second decision and ran to the window, fumbling to unlock it - and cursing herself for it - before finally pulling it up and basically diving out of the room.

She didn't have time to breathe before she heard the door being opened by brute force before she ran around the yard of the house and straight towards the neighbor's fence, jumping over it. The girl sprawled out in the grass, chest heaving, noticing a dog barking at her but not attacking as she immediately stood up to run in front of the house. She vaguely heard the police sirens from a distance.

She hoped what she did was enough distraction to help whoever Cha-cha was shooting at before second-guessing if she should go back inside the house or wait for the police to arrive.

The girl then heard an agony-filled cry from inside the house from who she could only assume was Ruth and felt her heart pump harder in terror, if even possible, running back to the house entering another window, noticing that it was the living room, and vaulting up to it making sure nobody was around.

She hid behind the couch, chest heaving, when the police sirens slowly got louder until she could hear it from the front of the house. She heard running from upstairs before bolting up and leaving the room, trying to find where the others were.

She found Ruth crying over Michael's bloodied body, causing her to freeze in dread, standing still over the archway. She didn't know what to do, absolutely terrified that Michael may not be breathing anymore when she felt a sudden crushing grip in front of her, blinking away tears she didn't realize had fallen before she saw that Five had engulfed her in an embrace, panting.

"You're okay," was what he murmured repeatedly. But she wasn't really hearing it, only gazing at Michael before she finally noticed his chest was still moving slightly. She released a shaky exhale at this, feeling her lips quiver as she slowly returned Five's embrace.

She then let go when he loosened his hold, immediately moving next to Ruth. The woman looked up at her mournfully and hugged the girl, then releasing her as she looked at [Name] with teary eyes. "You two need to leave now, I don't want you to be involved in all this any further." And looking back up at Five who nodded back at her.

She felt Five's grip on her, pulling her to a stand and keeping her steady, while she looked sorrowfully and apologetically at Ruth who merely smiled back with a nod, keeping a tight grip on Michael.

[Name] was then led to the back of the house, leaving through the backyard and walking away from the scene, careful that nobody noticed them.

"Can you not teleport us away?" She asked softly, having lost all adrenaline after seeing Michael's form.

"Too tired," he answered gruffly to which she nodded in understanding as they discretely walked back to the car, Five driving them away from the site.

She rested her head against the window, exhausted. She then looked at Five again who was gazing seriously at the road, asking, "How did Hazel and Cha-cha find us?"

"I don't know," he answered with a sigh, then looking up at her with a quirk of his mouth, seemingly trying to reassure her without words as he looked at the road again. "But we're gonna need to get rid of those two from our tail if we want to stop the apocalypse from ever happening." With her nodding in answer, not having any more energy to continue talking.
