Everyone immediately ran out of their rooms, pushing and pulling themselves through to arrive at the gymnasium before 15 minutes.
I, myself, joined the crowd as it poured through the stairs and elevators.
???: Out of my way!
???: FUCK OFF! IT'S ALREADY FULL!
It was a good thing I was close to the elevator, entering before it filled to the point of overflowing.
As it slowly descended down to the 1st floor, I could tell how anxious everyone was getting. I, myself, could probably imagine that Kei was faced with a similar situation. But, just as the final message iterated, there was a cavoite to her dilemma, which was the King himself.
To him, the game would have been boring and 'predictable' if it was merely a 1 v 91. He must be planning on giving Kei an advantage for the game, potentially having some people assisting her.
But even then, I doubted anyone would want to help her, considering the number of people they would be facing would be insurmountable.
Finally, the elevator arrived, as everyone came tumbling out and running in the direction of the gymnasium.
On my way there, I saw Ike, and Sudo running at full speed. It seems they're all taking it very seriously.
I walked inside and found class 2-D huddling in their group, facing a stage in the front of the gymnasium.
Everyone seemed terrified and anxious, as the timer finally ended once 15 minutes had passed.
*RING*
The phones of every single student in the school went off.
The King had sent another text message.
King: 'Awesome! Only 2 people didn't make it. both from Class 1-D. They're just defectives anyways, lol. Now! It's time for the games to begin! Karuizawa Kei, please step forward to the stage!'
Looking around, I saw Kei traversing through the crowd and eventually making her way up the stage, for everyone to see.
???: TESTING. TESTING. DOES EVERYONE HERE ME?
In that instant, 3 speakers turned on and revealed a robotic voice that could be heard by every student there.
King: IT'S ME, THE KING. I WAS THINKING THAT TEXTING IS JUST BORING. NOW, EVERYONE CAN HEAR ME JUST FINE.
???: This can't be happening?
*Pinch*
Tugging on my sleeve, I looked to my right and saw Horikita was right there.
She whispered in my ear.
Horikita: What are you going to do?
Me: I'm not sure yet. I need to see how this goes.
