The Cavendish siblings were seen entering the ballroom-from where this author can't be too sure—but the three siblings returned with such exuberance, such equilibrium and great vigour, all eyes were strapped on the three siblings. It seems to be despite the ball being held for well, the engagement of both Lady Cavendish and Mr. Bridgerton (Benedict) all eyes were truly in fascination with the alluring Cavendish siblings. Onto something a little more odd...The Viscount Bridgerton was nowhere to be seen—he is one to never miss celebrating his siblings. Could it be that the brothers (Anthony and Benedict) truly be feuding?

Anthony watched from the perimeter of the ball room, sipping his champagne, going unnoticed in his mask—it was the perfect cover really. No one knew he was right there amongst them, not even his mother who stood only a mere foot away. He could hear her every word, wondering where he had disappeared to or why he wasn't present for the announcement. God. He would have thought the woman would be able to sniff him from a mile away—he was her son after all.

Anthony watched Nura interact with a woman in black, behaving as though both women had a secret they shared. The lady in black quickly pecked her cheek and slipped away. He smiled to himself, amused at how she glanced around, grimacing and even pulling a little smile of distaste. Under the mask her eyes glowed and he waited for the perfect moment to grab her. The half of her face he could see, Anthony watched as her smile brightened the moment his brother Colin strode over—he said something he couldn't hear but it was clear he asked her to take a turn around the room with him. It warmed his otherwise stern heart to see them at ease with one another.

Of course Colin knew everything there is to know about Nura, it made it all the more easier for Anthony to ensure she was in safe and reliable hands. "Where is Anthony!" He heard his mother whisper to his sisters. They shook their heads, not any wiser to know he was standing right beside Eloise—well an arms reach away. But then, something happened that quite literally—well figuratively knocked Anthony off his feet. Eloise turned to him, flashed him a wry smile and pulled him away from their family.

"Care to explain why you're standing there—or at least you were, listening to mama lose her mind trying to locate you?"

Anthony looked down at his little sister with a bear like smile. "That doesn't concern you now does it, dear sister?"

She jabbed her finger at him, "you...you—you little—never mind, your secret is safe with me."

He grinned. "How ever did you know it was me?"

Eloise was shrewd, witty and all around brighter than the whole Bridgerton clan put together, flashed him a winsome smile, "that's for me to know and well, you to dot dot dot—clever disguise I must say." She added with a wicked grin.

He nodded, concealing his smile—certain Eloise would figure it out if she hadn't already. "Thank you, darling sister. Now, might you step away and not draw any attention to us?"
