It did take her long to take the veil down. Klaus, Elijah and Katherine where there. So was Grams as she popped up out of nothing, standing on the opposite side of the of them as Bonnie back was on her, facing the Originals and the doppelgänger.
"It is done," she said as she stared at Klaus, "but then realized that they were all staring behind her, knitting her eyebrows before turning to see what peeked their interest.
Shock was never the word to describe her emotions, along with joy.
"Grams," she muttered, almost in tears.
Sheila Bennett just gave her a look she has been giving her from the otherside, filled with disappointment.
"How many times have I told you not to mess with vampire business," Bonnie quickly became ashamed. "Now look at what you have done."
Katherine rolled her eyes. "Is this some family reunion, cause I want no part in it."
"Shut it," Elijah command with ease. To Klaus' surprise, she did after rolling her eyes again.
To be honest, neither of the Originals had no idea on what was happening, they have never seen such a thing before in their almost thousand years of their lives.
The woman whom Bonnie seem to know popped out of nothing.
Bonnie moved towards her in a hurry, afraid that she'll miss the opportunity to hold her again. Jumping into her arms, making the others annoyed with the display of emotion.
"I've missed you so much," the little witch said to her elder as they embraced.
Sheila wanted to let her know how much she had been with her the entire time. Well, most of it, but there were more important issues to attain.
"Child, now is not the time," Sheila said as she broke the hug and their gaze met. "Do you have any idea what you have done?"
"It was all to see Qetsiyah," she defended herself, "I had to stop Silas."
Sheila huffed after letting her go completely. "If you had listened to me," she scolded calmly, "none of this would have happened."
At the side of her eyes, there was an ocean blue gaze begging to be noticed and she indulged it.
The hybrid was just as puzzled as everyone else. The look the dead Bennett witch gave did nothing to put his mind at ease. Even though she appeared calm, her stare filled with no emotion, he knew the look very well. His almost thousand years made sure of it.
"I know," Bonnie muttered as she stared to the ground for a moment, "but I couldn't just let my friends die."
"The Salvatore's were never your friends," Sheila snapped. "Didn't my dead teach you anything?"
The shame that the youngest Bennett felt circulated the caves, making the others nervous. They had no idea what to expect, even what thought to process. But Klaus on the other hand, was happy to learn that Bonnie's elder did not support her associations.
Thank's to his superior network, his phone vibrated in his pocket. Notifying the other vampires.
"Rebekah," he stated after answering it. All eyes were now on him, "now is not the time."
"Funny you say that," she said, "since I'm staring at Kol's back while drowning into Mystic Grills whiskey."
The thought of having more than one problem sky rocketed his emotions, Katherine smirked at that while Elijah pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Telling him about my whereabouts will never make what will come any easier," Kol stared at the bar. He knew that his brother heard him and continued without turning to meet Matt nor Rebekah stares from behind. "I've warned you about Silas," he sipping his whiskey in the glass and taking in the bitter taste, "but you were all selfish to listen and pay attention to the universe."
Elijah shook his head, knowing very well that nothing good was about to come from this situation.
Matt jumped in, even though Rebekah was holding the phone and they all heard him very well. He did not know about everyone who was there with Klaus, neither of them did beside Kol.
"Whatever you are doing Klaus, I suggest you let it be, for all our sakes."
That got Katherine attention as she tried not to flinch. Bonnie just stared at Klaus' face as it continued to clench. Shelia on the other hand, knew very well what was happening.
"What does he mean by that?" the doppelgänger muttered. As she believe the fear in her voice was masked, but they all heard it.
Obviously Matt didn't hear her, but Kol replied, "prepare yourselves."
Klaus hanged up the phone and sent a deadly glare at Sheila. "What have you done?" He spit.
She chuckled. "Me," she placed her palms on her chest, "the question you should be asking is what you have done to my granddaughter."
Elijah knitted his eyebrows. "And what do you mean by that?" He knew that his hybrid's brother's temper was wearing thin, but so was his.
Bonnie turned to Klaus who appeared to be confused, then turned to Sheila. "What is going on Grams?"
Sheila decided to keep her glare at the hybrid.
"Come on now hybrid, there are five of us here, but my sweet Bonnie is the only one alive." The smirk on her face reminded her of Bonnie.
Neither of them knew were she was going.
"That should be enough puzzle box for you to solve."
Sheila's smirked wanted all of them to roll heads beside Bonnie. Not knowing what was going on set them over the edge.
Luckily, Katherine proven to be the scavenger in the group, using all of her senses.
The whole event appeared to be weird for her, the kind that forced her to run all the time she sensed danger. Bonnie downing the veil had proven in that moment to be an inconvenience for her. Meaning that if she stayed, the circumstances that were on the way will also be her problem. So, she needed to be sure.
"Bon, how far does the dropping of the veil go?"
Bonnie knew that she did not owe her any explanation even through the was no trust, but because of the deal, she had no choice but to entertain her.
"Only in the border of Mystic Falls," she said even though she knew where she was going, that it was not good at all.
"There are five of us here, in the tunnels," Katherine indicted, "one is alive," the Original turned to doppelgänger intrigued, "yet, there are only two heartbeats."
