Mikaelson Manor

"I'm guessing that I was right of course," Kol stated from the door, leaned against it as his older brothers were in the study room, "neither of you cared enough to believe me about Silas, let alone bring me back to life."

Neither of his brothers paid him any mind, as Elijah was staring at his hybrids brother who was staring out the french windows. Neither of them had said a word after they have arrived.

Before their younger brother's arrival, it had been so since the departure of the tunnels. Of course, they had made sure that Bonnie and her grandmother arrived safely at home without them knowing. Klaus was the one that actually made sure of it since they spent the night travelling with his car.

Elijah had an idea as to why as he had assumed that they were going straight home. He also sensed that his hybrid brother did not for obvious reasons, the reason why he had not said anything after leaving the caves.

After the Bennetts got in her car and driven off with Caroline driving behind them, he had assumed that they were going straight home, but that wasn't the case after his younger brother parked the car a couple of blocks away from Sheila Bennett's house.

As soon as they all got in the house, he drove home. As much as Elijah felt that there was much that not only needed to be discussed, but said, he kept his mouth shut. All because he knew his brother very well.

The difference between then and now was that he has never seen his brother in that manner.

Yes, he appeared to be calm, his face showing no emotions. But he knew very well, he knew him very well and the fact that eyes never lie.

He was standing between the couches, the fire place behind him, Klaus on his left by the french windows and Kol by the french doors in their study.

He did not wish to indulge Kol, all because he could see his smirk at the side of his face. Kol was born to reek havoc in everyone's lives, also put into it some fun no one can handle. The noble brother knew very well that if he ever said something to their younger brother, it will make everything worse, he will make everything worse just for the fun of it, all because they did absolutely nothing to help him to come back to life, let alone Finn.

Wait, he thought as he removed his gaze from his hybrid brother and stared at their Egyptian carpet with a coffee table. He did not see their younger brother moving to the table and sat at the chair, facing all the grimores on it.

Finn had not made an appearance with her Sage!

Mother!

Mikael!

Hendrik! His undead heart almost clenched at that thought.

He knew very well that it wasn't the right time, even though in that moment, before and after, there will never be the right moment.

He was just about to say as much to his brothers, but the click of the shoes heading to them in the hallway put him to pause.

One of them had a very familiar scent whilst the other did not. All he knew was that it was a male and female. The scent he could identify was the male's.

He did not notice that Kol was also looking the same path by the hallway, but not Niklaus. He was still gazing out the window. Both of them not missing the fact that he was a vampire and the other a witch. They just thought that it was one of the friends of Bonnie's and Elena's. Coming to give them more bad news, at least, that is what Elijah had hoped.

After a moment, the pair appeared by the hallway.

Elijah had no idea how his face remained blank and not astonished like Kol's, though it was as if he was waiting for this moment.
