Encanto: Mirabel's Times with Tio Bruno

Mirabel and her Tio Bruno 4

Note: Probably the only part before ten years later.

Ten years earlier, Mirabel and her tio, Bruno, spends more time together in the nursery room.

They played stuffed animals together. The leopard and the toucan.

They napped together on the bed for couple hours.

They sang and danced together. She keeps standing on his two feet. He still doesn't care.

They rotated clockwise gradually. It was a slow dance.

Mirabel appeared delighted at him. She smiles.

Bruno held her hands. He looked confident. Bruno still got his awkward smile.

While they continue dancing, he made a soft melody to her.

"Ay, orguguitas...No se aguanten mas...Hay que crecer aparte y volver...Hacia adelante sequiras...Vienen milagros...Vieven crisalidas...Hay que partir y construir su propio futuro..." He sung softly (Oh, little caterpillars, don't hold back anymore, you have to grow apart and come back, forward you will continue, miracles are coming, chrysalises are coming, you have to leave and build your own future).

Mirabel leans on his legs. She shut her eyes. Mirabel was loved.

Bruno became curious in his grin. "What is it, my sobrina?" He wondered.

She breathes with ease. "I love you, Tio Bruno." Mirabel replied. She got elevated by him. Mirabel became surprised.

He has her in his embrace.

She eyes on her tio for a moment. Then, Mirabel hugged him back. She got his affection.

Bruno kissed her head. He likes holding his sobrina in his arms. "I love you, Mirabel." Bruno whispered.

He goes to cheek-to-cheek on her.

She got her smiling bigger. "Tio Bruno, your beard is itchy!" Mirabel stated.

He chuckles at himself. "I can't help myself, mi preciosa. I need a daily time with you." Bruno said (my precious).

Some days that are sunshines. And some days that are raining hard.

Mirabel runs away in the forest. She heads to the clearing where her tio found her last time. Mirabel sat next to the big boulder. She got teary eyes. Mirabel was crying. The rain got her soaked.

Later on, someone came to comfort her.

She keeps her head down.

Bruno shielded his sobrina with his long green ruana. He was protecting her from the unanticipated rainstorm.

Bruno became melancholy. He grasped her little hand. "Mirabel, are you okay?" Bruno asked.

She can't stop sobbing. Mirabel can feel his hand holding her. "Camilo's teasing me again...He tells me before they are harmless...I don't think Camilo meant to go too far on me...He got carried away...I just got scared of an actual puma..." she replied.

Bruno sighs unimpressed. He thought about his sobrino. When is Camilo ever going to quit tormenting poor Mirabel? Bruno pities his sobrina.

He picks her up in his arms.

She still cries. "Tio Bruno?" Mirabel sobbed.

"Shh, shh." He added, hushing her. "It's all right, it's all right. I'm gonna get you dry off. Put you on your bed for awhile. And I'll feed you more arepas than your primo has. I got you, my sobrina. I got you." Bruno whispers kindly.

He brought her back to the casita.

Hours later, Bruno walks to the kitchen. He efforts to grab as much arepas as his arms can carry.

Someone calls on him.

"Brunoooo..."

He looked alerted. Bruno believes it's his eldest hermana. He stays put.

"Are you sneaking seconds for Mirabel again?!" Pepa wonders firmly.

Bruno considers his good response to her. He became awkwardly nervous. "Um, noooo...?" Bruno answered.

He rushes out of the kitchen.

Bruno escaped from his angry eldest hermana.
