Encanto: Mirabel's Times with Tio Bruno

Note: This is going to be a short story in a few parts. No point of views this time. It's going to be a mix before and after ten years. After ten years later part I. Thank you, readers and Disney's Encanto fans! Enjoy!

The nightfall arrives above the casita.

Bruno decided himself to sleep without going up the long stairs. He tosses and turns left to right. Bruno pants heavily. Then, he mumbles his sobrina's name.

Bruno wander in the unusual area in his wake.

Everything was pitch black.

He was mystified. "Wha-what's happening now?" Bruno asks himself.

He browses his surroundings.

There was no one around.

And suddenly, the verdant green goes radiating in front of him.

Bruno went to the odd bright green light.

Right before his eyes, there was a gigantic dark brown hourglass. The design of hourglass holders has little hourglass on both sides. From top to bottom, there are a few emerald pieces on it.

He has no wondering what's going on.

Then, Bruno hears a loud cry for help.

The shout came from a woman.

For what he witnessed next astonished himself.

At the bottom of the hourglass, the sands builds up halfway to a higher level. The young woman with big green glasses struggles the gaining sands. She appears really stuck. Her teal bottom skirt got completely covered in sands. Her both hands are pressed against the glass.

Bruno gasped. "MIRABEL!" He exclaimed scarcely.

Bruno dashes to her. He was anxious as heck.

She grunts while writhing herself. Mirabel became worried. She faced him. "Tio Bruno, I don't know what's going on." Mirabel added, gasping. "I really don't know how I end up in here." She muttered. Her voice intones from within the glass.

The ascending sands heads to her upper body.

His hands touched against the glass. It was going too haste for him. He surveys falling sands from the topmost of the hourglass. It drops swiftly. Bruno gets the urge to free his sobrina. He faces her. Bruno became desperate. "Mirabel!" He added, exclaiming. She panted. Mirabel was helpless in a deadly trap. "Hold on! I'll figure a way to get you out of this! Don't worry!" Bruno exclaims fearfully.

She observes him curiously. Mirabel continues to fight against the arising sands. She mutters repeatedly.

He doesn't have much time for her rescue. Bruno go through his long green ruana. He was in distress himself. Bruno couldn't find anything to break his sobrina free. The new voice had him jumped.

"What's taking you to save your butterfly?"

He hears his own familiar voice. Bruno checks out for another character who spoke. He encounters the silhouette man. Bruno became resolute. "Who said that?!" He added, inquiring. "Show yourself!" Bruno hollered.

The male figure reveals himself. "I am Hernando." He introduced.

Bruno was disbelieved. He shook his head twice.

The dropping sands mounts Mirabel to her shoulders. She can't compete with the uprising sands. Her elbows got buried. "Tio Bruno..." Mirabel whispered. She keep on gasping in her undertone.
