Bruno's PoV;

I was amazed that my little sobrina got another chance for her ceremony (niece). Abuela have Mirabel try again. I may have second thoughts about her first ceremony. Then, she wanted to effort her opportunity to do it again. We walked down gradually to the teal-blue main entrance. Mirabel put her doorknob on the front door. The magic appears again. The entryway of the door changed. The casita shifts the window shutters back and forth. It says 'Hola' to my sobrina (Hello). Mirabel says her hola back to our house.

I was awake on the next morning. When I got out of my tower, the tiled flooring moves me surprisingly like a treadmill. I have no idea where the casita is taking me. It shifted me to the right direction rapidly. Then, it got me rotated to another right. The living tiled flooring halted me in front of blue-greenish door. The casita lead me to the nursery room. It was the overwhelming moment to me. I smiled awkwardly at the floor. "Thank you, casita." I whispered. The tiled flooring flaps the tiles in its response. One, two, three.

I encountered my sobrina's bedroom door. I take deep breaths. Then, I knocked on her door four times. And lastly, I go knocking once on my head. "Knock, knock, knock, knock. Knock on wood." I said to myself.

Anyhow, I heard her voice behind her door. "Tio Bruno?" Mirabel wondered (uncle). She sounded close to her bedroom door.

It makes me happy to hear my sobrina speaking. I was confident. "Yes, Mirabel." I added, asking her. "May I come in, carino?" I inquired (sweetheart).

"You may, Tio Bruno." She answers my question honestly. I heard Mirabel stepping away from her bedroom door.

I turned the doorknob counterclockwise. I opened her nursery room door gradually. I took a peek behind her bedroom door. I became awestruck.

In the nursery room, there was my sobrina. She stands next to her bed. Mirabel holds her hands together. Her adorable optimistic smile gives me the awestruck feels. She was my only worth to melt my heart away.

I go forward to her. I extended my arms. I crouched down to her height. "Buenos dias, Mirabel." I said (Good morning).

She embraces me. I grasped her in return. Mirabel enjoys our hug. "Buenos dias, Tio Bruno." She said softly.

We are about to leave the nursery room. Suddenly, the casita stopped us. My sobrina's bedroom door shut itself on us. We expressed confusion. I browsed the nursery room. "Okay, what's happening today?" I added, mystifyingly. "What is going on, casita?" I asked.

The hardwood floor parts got us back on her bed. I was losing my balance for the casita moving me. I landed on my sobrina's bed by my back. Mirabel checks out her bedroom.

The hardwood floor parts moves up and down hastily. The drawers go back and forth insanely. The window shutters haven't budge it-selves. The door doesn't open again. If I have heard correctly from the casita, it was trying to warn us. How could I understand what the casita was saying? The way it behaves, the casita was panicking.

She detects the house's distress. Mirabel seems alerted. "I think the casita was scared of something. Something awful is going to happen." She believes.

I faced my sobrina. I got surprised at her. I don't consider that kind of a situation. I thought the casita can still stand with ease. If it's not that case, then what worries the casita on the morning that cause it so alarming?

"Mirabel, I haven't got what the casita was saying. It was talking too quick." I told her.

She encounters me frighteningly. "The casita says the big snowstorm is coming. We have to stay home until the bad weather passes." Mirabel declared.

I was really puzzled. "The big snowstorm? From your Tia Pepa's cloud?" I wondered (aunt).

She shook her head at me. "No, Tio Bruno." Mirabel added. "It's from the actual gray skies." She uttered.

It's unbelievable to me. The ACTUAL snowstorm?! Here in Encanto, Columbia?!

Mirabel sits up on her bed. She efforts to figure out about when the snowstorm arrives. Mirabel stares up at the ceiling. "Casita, when's the big snowstorm coming?" She asked.

The hardwood floor parts and drawers goes crazy. It was shifting too fast again.

Mirabel got astonished. She was gasping.

I noticed her troublesome expression. I sat up from her bed. Her state of fright got me anxious. "Mirabel, you okay?" I inquired her.

She efforts to take deep breaths. Before Mirabel could reply to me, she clings her arms. My sobrina has started to shake. Mirabel whimpers.

Her shaking has me worrying a lot more. I can feel it too. I held my ruana to keep myself warm. And then, I realized. I figured a way to help my poor sobrina. I get out of her bed. I removed my long green ruana off of myself. I cloaked Mirabel in my ruana.

She became unexpected. Mirabel glanced at me puzzlingly. "Tio Bruno?" She wonders.

I fixed my ruana on her. I made up my mind. "I don't know how long will the big snowstorm would last, Mirabel." I added. I put my ruana hood over her head. She faces me. I faced her. "I can't bear to see you shivering from the cold. It's going in a haste. Just snuggle with me." I replied.

She blinked her eyes twice at me. Mirabel stares at me curiously.

I lifted her up. She was in my arms. I go under her blanket on her bed. I put my sobrina down on her right side of her bed. I was on my left side of it. I tucked her in my ruana. And then, I went tucking her on her blanket. I won't let Mirabel get sick during the big snowstorm. I looked into her eyes.

She looks into my eyes. My sobrina was bewildered.

I have not ever been so afraid about today. It's a heartache for me. "I know you need to see your family again. And I got you back in the Family Madrigal." I added, cupping her right cheek. "I don't get why we're getting a big snowstorm either. Mirabel, you gotta stay warm in your bed. I will be with you for any terrible things happen. Your room. The casita. The town. Anywhere. And I wanna make sure that you are okay." I stated. I closed my eyes. I kissed her forehead. My poor sobrina was already freezing. I positioned her against my chest.

She sighs soothingly. Mirabel sounded relieved. She shuts her eyes. Mirabel smiles. "Thank you, Tio Bruno." she aforesaid.

I was glad my sobrina's acknowledging me to have our cuddle. I have her in my arms. "You're welcome, Mirabel." I said quietly.

I reassured my sobrina every instant that everything will be all right. The frigid weather was harsh. It lasted several hours. The hardwood floor parts moves slowly. Same goes for the drawers.

She opened her eyes. Mirabel tugs my burgundy shirt. "Tio Bruno?" She inquires.

I woken up. I seemed to be tired. I don't usually nap longer than an hour with her. Yet, it was five hours. I glimpsed at her. I yawned. "What is it, Mirabel?" I inquired too.

She sighs gladly. Mirabel smiled sweetly. "The casita says the big snowstorm has passed." She added, tugging my burgundy shirt harder. It's hard to find her hands. Mirabel looks like a cute little avocado. "I'm hungry, Tio Bruno." She pleaded.

I don't blame her. I haven't eaten anything yet myself. I chuckled myself. "Okay, Mirabel, okay." I said softly.

Not only the casita gone bananas this morning, it saves our family.

Bewilderingly, the entire courtyard was full of snow.

We're not used to have actual snow before.

Abuela and her family got the town to help. They dug the mountain pile of snow out of the casita.

Another couple hours went by.

So, after such a ridiculous big snowstorm, we fend ourselves the buffet style of every Colombian food. Especially arepas and cheese fritters.

Seriously, I don't have a vision about the terrible weather. The whole Family Madrigal has convinced me. Of course, Pepa got reminded if that happens again.

My eldest hermana will be the one to stop the awful snowstorm (sister).
